For most trans women, we're about as fond of the term 'shemale' as hispanic people are the terms 'spic' or 'beaner.' It's pretty much a porn term. Those of us who do adult industry work tolerate it, but I don't know of any who actually like that term. But the term 'transbian' is totally different. A lot of trans women use that term to identify themselves.
Or, the simple version:
Shemale=
Transbian=
I had no idea that was an offensive term.
I know. Most people don't and I get it. I understand that transsexuals are kinda outside mainstream society and because of that, a lot of people don't really 'get' the things about us. In fact, that's kinda part of why I started this thread in the first place: I have information that most of you don't and I have an opportunity to educate people. I've heard way too many social justice Sallies cry "It's not my job to educate you" and I've always hated that. I want to educate people if I can.

I still think of his attention seeking as trolling, but since he can't be especially witty with it and since he doesn't seem to have very many tricks, it puts his trolling in 'fail-troll' territory.
