Really why do you believe people will burn in hell, hell is described as a dark place, where there's no light. What reasonable thought determined hell doesn't exist.

It's not a lake of fire?
Revelation 20:10 - And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Revelation 21:8 - But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Revelation 20:15 - And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 20:14 - And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Matthew 25:41 - Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Umm...the reasonable thought that people cannot survive for eternity after they're already dead.

If it's just an eternity of separation from Yahweh, life would be much like it is on earth.
You actually know what it's like to be separated from God.
Hell is never referred to as torture except by those who see themselves qualified to be there. But your description of hell is much closer to what it will be like, except that the struggling and screaming will never end, the mind will be eternally lasting.

I've been living separate from god for some time now. I find it quite refreshing.
