A man kills your family. He says God talked to him and told him to do it. Is he justified? Or is he crazy?
I've not seen this posted before but, I'll answer it. God does not tempt nor tell people to sin, so the guy is crazy. Satan is called the tempter in the NT and also the father of lies.
James 1:13-14 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I'm being tempted by God," for God can not be tempted with evil and He himself tempts no one. 14) But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desires.
I know some may not like this because it lays the responsibility on them. So the murderer is guilty because he fell to his own desires.
Now you have an answer, why other Christians couldn't answer this I do not understand.

I remember a story about a guy named Abraham... which was asked to kill someone... could you freshen my memory?
