Since it's hard for me to explain in my own words, I hope it's ok that I post this here from a Catholic dictionary:
"Spiritual life: The life of the Holy Spirit, dwelling in the souls of the faithful and enabling them to praise and love God and serve him in the practice ov firtue. It is called the spiritual life because: 1. its animating principle is the Spirit of god, the "Soul of the soul" in sanctifying grace; 2. it is the supernatural life of the human spirit; 3. it is mainly lived out in the spiritual faculties of intellect and will, although affecting the whole person, body and soul."
...So we believe the sacraments (which can only be performed by priests) help fortify and kind of "make official" the presence of the Holy Spirit in a person's soul.
I feel really silly and vulnerable delving so deep into the spirituality talk with a bunch of atheists who think this is nuts, but there it is lol. Please go easy on me. This is what we believe.

Oh trust me. I'm not holding anything against you.
Not even if he told you you have a great body?
Ha... ha.... ha.......
That is so 2001. You can do better.

Yes, men are needed to impregnate a woman. But I'm not talking about the "impregnating" part of it. I'm talking about carrying life and giving birth. Which are immensely powerful and important things that only women can do.
great. but she can't carry life without getting pregnant first, whereas women are of no need to the man who becomes a priest. in fact, most are celibate.
Sure, and priests can't give sacraments without having been "gestated" and delivered by a woman first lol.

Well, it is pretty easy to believe God wanted women to be the ones to carry life and give birth. ;-)
The other one is a matter of faith without any sort of physical proof, if you don't count the fact that Jesus was a man and chose all male apostles ... but you guys don't believe in that either, so you can call it a matter of faith and I'm cool with that.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
