RE: Ends of times prophecy that I can't shake

I'm not sure what we can say.
Sure, we have problems. We've also come a long way in many respects.
I don't see what it's got to do with the bible. Is the world worrying you, or the bible? If it's the former, then you're not alone. We still have a lot of issues which we try to work out together. If it's the latter, then all I can say is extremely vague "prophecies" always come true sooner or later, especially when the person reading them is prepared to interpret them to fit the facts.
Even if the authors did somehow predict something, that doesn't tell us anything else useful.
