Do you think there's a point to your existence??

YOu are not as important as you think you are.

And your bullshit god is even less important.

Actually, you make a very good point there.......Not! What kind of "answers" are we to find in the Holy Book that relate to the cosmos....that the earth is flat and that Jesus is an astrotheological personification of the sun?

I know big words like that probably confound you terribly but just sound them out, break them down and then google "astro-theo-logical person-ification of Jesus" to see what I mean. Your Bible is a con job.
You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.

There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting.

No, not really. I exist, and that's all there is to it. There being "a point" to existence has never really mattered to me. Now, why I'm me and not someone else is always an interesting question.

If you didn't mean personal existence, but existence in general, then what I said still applies.
"Sisters, you know only the north; I have traveled in the south lands. There are churches there, believe me, that cut their children too, as the people of Bolvangar did--not in the same way, but just as horribly. They cut their sexual organs, yes, both boys and girls; they cut them with knives so that they shan't feel. That is what the Church does, and every church is the same: control, destroy, obliterate every good feeling. So if a war comes, and the Church is on one side of it, we must be on the other, no matter what strange allies we find ourselves bound to."

What makes you think we're the only ones with nature's gift of reason? Billions of stars, billions of planets orbiting them and billions of galaxies. Good chance there are other sapient beings out there. Just saying.

Playing by your own rules, please provide evidence of this claim.

Our own tiny insignificant solar system has enough environments which may be, or have been, conducive to life:

Mars: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars#Search_for_life
Enceladus: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enceladus_(...ater_ocean
Titan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titan_(moon...sible_life
Europa: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europa_(moo...trial_life
Callisto: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Callisto_(m..._the_ocean

Whether any of those really did, do, or will have life is still very uncertain.

The point is that life may not be nearly as unlikely as we egocentric beings naturally tend to think. Let's remove Earth from the equation - that's still several other environments in our solar system which have the potential for life. Multiply that by 9 x 10^21. Or if you really need the zeroes:

9 000 000 000 000 000 000 000

Of course, with a sample size of 1 Solar System, we cannot be sure how many of those might have life. But I think most scientists agree the odds are in life's favour.

Evidence? Ace isn't making an absolute claim that aliens exist- he said that it's likely. Given that there are hundreds of billions of planets in the universe, each with a chance to support life, I'd say it's very likely that intelligent life exists somewhere.

Or are you such an idiot that you're asking where the proof is for hundreds of billions of planets existing?
What falls away is always, and is near.

Also, I am not pretending to be female, this profile picture is my wonderful girlfriend. XD
