I'd like to see your worthless hide try to pull line as fast as me. Gotta use that leverage. You being a guy, I wouldn't imagine you know the first thing about it.

I've worked with women quite a bit; they spend 90% of the time at work doing nothing BUT talking. XD Had to deal with an an almost entirely female department at Best Buy. They spent almost every hour of the day doing this thing where two would talk to one another about the other girl, then one would leave. The girl being talked about prior would then come up, and the new pair would start talking shit about the one that had just left. They spent most of their time utterly oblivious to me juggling 5+ customers at a time or restocking shelves or hauling shit all over the department. Same thing happened when I was working at Safeway, at Radioshack, only time it didn't happen nearly as much was at Williams-Sonoma, but then that might have been because I was working the stock room and didn't see what was going on out on the sales floor. XD

This is how most women are, not all, but most.

I'm a liberal feminist. In other words i believe in equality and feel that both sexes get douched over in different circumstances, e.g women less likely to have career, men spend less time with kids. It works both ways. Radicals in sociological and political terms should be mostly ignored, or just roll your eyes at them. That really pisses them off.

Yeah, I'm not saying ALL women are like that, just the ones that tend to be more whiny. It's hilarious because those same women I was talking about were pissed off at me because I got an "Expert" position as entry over them. Their claims were that they'd been working there and yet I was brought in from outside. 1st: I'd had over a year and a half in experience in cell phone and electronics sales prior to being hired by Best Buy. 2nd: After asking the department supervisor, store managers, and people in other departments, the same girls whining about me getting the position over them had been constantly receiving low scores on their secret shops, most of them came into work late, and the department looked like shit constantly.

One of them made the mistake of snapping at me that she was "busy" [she had been talking to her friend from school for the last 45 minutes] when I told her she needed to say goodbye to her friend cuz we had customers. She started to turn away to go back to talking to her friend, and I stepped right in front of her and told her to go home and that I did not need her there for the rest of the day. She talked to management, and the store general manager [who was a woman, by the way; one who worked her ass off, too] told her she wholly supported my demand and that if it had to happen much more she was firing the girl.

The other girls kept giving me really dirty looks [not the good kind of dirty] for the next week. And they never really did shape up, I ended up having to get them all fired for absolute uselessness.

I despise feminism, but you have such vitriol that I can't resist Heart

Quote:Women claim they want to be thought of as equals to men. But how do they do it?

You'll notice that you just made a blanket statement. Not even 'most' or 'many' or 'a good number of'... flat out blanket. Not good plan Wink

CoH Wrote:1: Stop shaving your armpits, apply no makeup, wear loose-fitting clothing, only shower once every few days, leave your hair in a wild tangled mess! THAT'S REAL PROGRESSION; make all men not want to fuck you! Except for the extremely desperate ones.

There is no such thing as a woman that most men would not like to fuck.

I say that as a woman who lets her armpit hair grow for a good deal of time, never uses makeup, wears a good deal of loose-fitting clothing, only showers once every few days, and leaves her hair in a wild tangled mess.

And I don't even have a vagina. Hasn't been a problem for me to get laid.

* Violet thinks other guys just aren't communicating truthfully to you.

Quote:2: Bitch, moan, and whine about every perceived slight against you. If there's even the slightest possible chance that discrimination MAY be aimed at you, get right up on your high-horse and start making speeches about "woman pride." For added benefit, throw in statements about the "almighty uterus."

I may seem prideful in my forum persona, but I actually suffer from low self-image and the knowledge that however talented I might be at anything: almost anyone could be moreso with a little practice.

But if you do call me a man, hell yes I'll defend myself. Being a woman doesn't mean much... but it sure as fuck isn't being a man. And fuck's a damn sure thing for me.

Quote:3: Do less than half of the physical labor that the men do, do not innovate new ideas, and/or essentially just be another face in the crowd. Proceed to bitch that the "Y chromosomer" who damn-near broke his back doing the physical labor you couldn't do and/or thought up the ideas you couldn't and/or managed to make himself shine is getting preferential treatment and this is just another example of social misogyny at work.

What's hilarious is that you seem to think women incapable of innovation. Is there an honest difference in the mental capacity of women from that of men? Not that has been discernibly found.

If he damn near broke his back from a little physical labour... I have to wonder about his constitution, and if he is fit for the job in the first place. That is all Wink

Quote:1: Play to your beauty. Men like something pretty to look at. If they're gay, it's other dudes but if they're straight or bi, pretty girls are on the menu. USE THIS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE. There's nothing wrong with playing to vanity; you get a confidence boost from men checking you out, we get to appreciate beauty, and the effort necessary to shave, shower, and apply makeup shows you are willing to spend time and effort on yourself and therefore that you will be willing to display that effort potentially everywhere!

Even I know this is ridiculous. What they suggest is equality, what you suggest is that women be pretty on the side? Sure, gal: you're infantry... now go put on that makeup and shave your pits!

Also, 'pretty girls' aren't the only type of girl. Not that many men particularly care, but it's true: some girls just look horrible with makeup on. I'm one of them, even a light does of any but earth tones makes me look like an abuse victim. Fitting perhaps, but not what I'm going for Tongue

Do you also hold men to this? I can tell you one thing about me: I take a good long look at the guys who are well-groomed. Also: brush your teeth. Please. Beauty and hygiene is not alone the domain of women. ^_^

Quote:2: Shuuuut the fuuuuck uuuuuup. I dunno about the other guys on this site but one thing I do not like is listening to another guy bitching and whining about shit instead of nutting up and doing something about it [though it's perfectly fine to bitch and rant about shit you ARE either going to do something about or are doing something about it], WHY in the hell should women assume that we'll treat them any differently?? You want the respect of men? Don't bitch about Kelly talking smack; GO OVER AND BEAT HER ASS, CLAW HER FACE, YANK ON HER HAIR...smoosh your boobs against hers, crawl on top of her, ooo you naughty little kitties, RAWR- ER, I MEAN, uh, just go over and tell her to shut the fuck up and stop talking smack and spreading gossip about you because if she doesn't you'll beat her ass. ...And if she continues, well then, by all means, beat her ass. Show you're willing to take action; we respect that among ourselves and we'll respect you for it, too!

So... we should be violent just because someone's talking smack? Great philosophy, I'd love to see you in charge of a nuclear armed nation.

No wonder women exist: humanity would have died out. And I'm not even talking about reproduction (damn cisgendered women...). Would you rather I rip the uterus out of another woman, or complained about being unable to have babies once in a while when I'm depressed?

Quote:3: Don't try to take something on that you cannot follow through with. Do NOT sign up for a physically-intensive position if you weigh all of 110 lbs and can hardly lift a laptop. And if you do, don't expect to go anywhere in that job. At ALL. And if you DO go somewhere in that job? Don't expect any respect from the men at all: No, they're NOT mad that a woman got the promotion instead of them, they're pissed off that someone doing a fraction of the work is making more than them and has higher responsibilities. Doesn't matter if you were a man or a woman; when that happens, nobody respects them! PERIOD. Again, play to your strengths, and stop trying to pretend you're on equal footing with men in all ways. And if you pull your weight and still don't get that promotion, find out why. Pay attention to the politics of your co-workers; determine if one of them is brown-nosing the boss and find a way to snub them out.

Funnily, plenty of men who sign the draft are almost the definition of '110lbs and can barely lift their laptop'. Tongue In our nation's time of need: you could be fighting with these guys by your side. Gonna rip them a new one instead of bitching that you got stuck with them in your squad? Tongue

Sounds like you just hate CEOs, who basically do a fraction of your work and get paid many times your salary. Funfact... most of them are men. And they don't need your respect: they are riding easy on the money.

Play to your strengths 'blah blah blah'... it doesn't say much of men if their strength is grunt work. By that logic, they should never be promoted: they are more useful where they are Tongue

CoH Wrote:In conclusion: All feminazis need to shut the fuck up. Their bitching tirades are not doing anything more than diminishing respect towards women. Claiming that simply being a woman is cause for respect simply is not true; respect must be earned. Doesn't matter your gender.

Simply being a woman is enough cause to respect my being a woman. Turns out my parents don't.

My gender matters not at all? Funny that it's the primary ongoing battle in my life, then.

Maybe it's a city gal thing, since I've not had that experience at all. Just like all men: all women are different.

I hate having my elder sister at the fish site due to drama, and my younger sister simply doesn't 'stay the course' of the tide. But my niece and my mother are constantly at work, either alongside me or where they're needed Tongue

* Violet doesn't sympathize with a job that involves working with customers, hauling shit, and stocking shelves.

RE: How to gain and lose a friend in 2 weeks.
Vaeolet: I would say you missed the point but that's kind of like saying the Holocaust caused some grief; indescribable level of understatement. XD Not only did you take what I said to the extremes of literal, you also have said something that you've mentioned in like six different threads that I can recall off the top of my head.

I'm probably going to lose respect for saying this because if you don't know me you'll read it in the voice of someone who is trying to crush someone under his boot while saying it [try amused exasperation instead, that's far more accurate] but I am not one known for holding back on what I have to say:

You're pre-op, you talk about it all the time. I'm a guy; I think this might be like the first time I've actually pointed that out in any real context. We get it. You're a woman in a guy's body, and you're getting a sex change; I get it, you don't need to bring it up in every. single. thread, alright? Don't get me wrong, I like your personality, you're delightfully cheerful and have a wonderful sense of humor, and whatever you want to do with your body is not going to affect me one way or another...unless you weaponize it in which case I will be the first to ask for specs so I can do the exact same thing.

I don't care that you're getting a sex change. You could tell me once you're pre-op, soon to be post-op, and leave it at that, and my perception of you would not change. But I don't need to be reminded of it every single time. I don't need to know of your sexual exploits. I don't need to know that you think all men are dumb muscle. This is a gentle request: Please stop bringing it up. It's like the gay people who are not content with being gay; the ones who feel the need to remind me every ten minutes. You need prove NOTHING to me; my opinion of you is happily neutral; your choices are your own! I am not going to judge you for those choices. Ok? You need not assert yourself, you need not work for my tolerance and acceptance because I already both tolerate AND accept you. You say that your genderal issues are the forefront struggle of your life; if nothing else, it need not be the case here. I cannot help but labor under the intense suspicion that nobody here looks down on you for it. Well. Except the theists, but they can eat my ass, anyway...

There, I just...felt that needed to be said. Tongue Please don't be mad.

Now, if you would like, I can write out an explanatory post that removes all elements of rhetoric and exaggeration, but I assure you; it will be a very boring post.

Or, you know, you could ignore people you don't like, or politely discuss what about them bothers you and offer a compromise. And if they're just such a blatantly horrible person that you can't ignore them or compromise with them, it should be pretty easy to get them fired and thus remove them from your life.
What falls away is always, and is near.

Also, I am not pretending to be female, this profile picture is my wonderful girlfriend. XD

That's why they call it nagging: cuz it just keeps niggling at you, wearing its way down on your sanity like Chinese water torture.
