Oh I'm not so sure AKH..

Quote:“Again and again across the centuries, cosmic discoveries have demoted our self-image. Earth was once assumed to be astronomically unique, until astronomers learned that Earth is just another planet orbiting the Sun. Then we presumed the Sun was unique, until we learned that the countless stars of the night sky are suns themselves. Then we presumed our galaxy, the Milky Way, was the entire known universe, until we established that the countless fuzzy things in the sky are other galaxies, dotting the landscape of our known universe.

Today, how easy it is to presume that one universe is all there is. Yet emerging theories of modern cosmology, as well as the continually reaffirmed improbability that anything is unique, require that we remain open to the latest assault on our plea for distinctiveness: multiple universes, otherwise known as the “multiverse,” in which ours is just one of countless bubbles bursting forth from the fabric of the cosmos.”

Well, if that works for you, and helps you live a happy life, have at it. Doesn't work for me. I don't know though, I don't think that you'd want everyone around you thinking "screw that hippie" when the time came that you needed their help, support, or just general comfort. Sometimes though, when something is important enough to your own personal happiness -and the people around you simply refuse to understand that- well, I suppose you don't have much of a choice then eh?

(on the other hand, has it ever occurred to you that their stubborn refusal might actually be an expression of "screw everybody else -this is what makes me happy!")
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I consider myself a necrocrat. I believe that the government that rules best is ruled by the living dead.

Not really, all of those are entirely optional. THAT's the point of libertarianism, optional, voluntary...
