They just are not what Christ/God considers to be Prayers.

well maybe the True Christians could try Reading a New King James Version or just a standard King James version:

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?sea...rsion=NKJV

Which btw Indebted/tresspass against us, has been translated from the same greek word:ὀφείλω opheilō it means: to owe.

Catholic versions change this word to tresspass (which means the same without the same bite) because then forgiveness becomes a matter between you and God, leaving preists with less to do in their booths...

On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being wholly unsurprised and 10 being the discovery that Lady GaGa isn't just a man but is actually 2pac as a deep undercover cop hot on the trail of a notorious serial bigamist where would you say you are round about now?

The lord's model of Prayer is an out line and not an actual prayer. many pray this as a prayer, and that what makes it a repetitious. As an outline one is free to fill in with whatever greeting, exultation, petition to have God usher in the end of days, His will being carried out, your daily bread, or the conditions of your salvation anyway you want. Christ simply touches on the points your prayers should include.

Oh, wait...wait...wait, Drippy. Let's get one thing crystal clear here. I am firmly of the opinion...based on the failure of clowns like you to produce any evidence that your god exists...that your pal jesus is nothing but a figment of your fucking imagination.

He did therefore not curse fig trees or walk on water or bring anybody back from the fucking dead...least of all himself. All of this is bullshit designed to impress idiots.

And I can see you are impressed.

So, does it anger god to use this outline as an actual prayer?

Yeah, that's what we need, more jackasses making petitions so that the world might end before they do Jerkoff. Have you ever consider how incredibly sinister that is? I mean really, really creepy....tiny glass window shit.

So this loving, all powerful deity can't figure out a way to allow free will without cancer being included as part of the package?

If that's the case, this deity is a moron.

No, it's just meaningless if you use it as a repetitious filler or chant. it is as harmless as a wishing cermony.

RE: Prayer?
Or a prayer, in fact.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
