RE: IF GOD EXISTS, THEN HE CERTAINLY DOES NOT CARE FOR YOU AT ALL

"Surely you're not serious, you want God to keep everyone alive, keep them from their sicknesses, help them out of every situation that would harm them,"
Is it just me, or does this sound a whole hell of alot like the descriptions of heaven we've been graced with recently? So who is it that's supposed to want this again?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

This may well be the worst dirty copout there is.
With impudence he asks, "Why do you suppose that you can know the mind of God?"
When in reality, he doesn't know the mind of "God" any more than you do. The only thing he has is an old book with a bunch of broken ass ideas. Well guess what, we have access to the same book, which means unless you're saying that "God" speaks to you directly, revealing his inner most secrets, than you do not know jack fucking shit about the mind of god any more than anyone else does.
As if some christard has the hole punch for everyone's deity validation card. Than the final facepalm is that our arguments always come directly from the supposed literal bona-fide translation of guess what ... that's right, the mind of god.

no no ... that would be ridiculous to ask an all powerful, omnipresent god for something like that.

@Godschild:
First, I can no more blame a god who doesn't exist than I can fly. Likewise, I don't blame Santa when I don't get what I wanted for Christmas.
Moreover, your entire statement amounts to a massive example of the tu quoque fallacy, or "you too" fallacy. I can blame both myself and God. That I have committed a sin does not excuse or erase any that God may have committed (if he existed). That you think that blame shifting is a workable defense speaks more to your faults than mine. Your whole religion is about shifting blame. And you have the gall to tell us we want to make another, God, responsible for our wrongs? Look in the fucking mirror, asswipe. You celebrate your doing that exact shit and call it holy.
More double standards from the people who patented talking out of both sides of the mouth at once.

This. God does something wrong? He's god, he has a reason. Human does the exact same thing? Bam, hell. We're all dirty sinners; sure god made us defective, but that's so we would have the choice to burn for all eternity or not. I mean, god has to find a release for his sadistic urges somehow, and what better way than to make us feel like we deserve it, so we suffer emotionally and physically? He always knows what he's doing and does the right thing, no matter how awful our sense of morality takes it to be. Slavery? It must be okay if Jesus approved, there must be something wrong with us. Always shift the blame for god's biblical actions to imperfections in the nature the allegedly perfect being programmed into us.

What is the truth, then? That God is incapable of providing for everyone, or simply unwilling? Is he cruel or is he impotent?

Millions of people who starve have little or no individual capacity to change their situation for the better, because a lot of them are infants and children. Tell a two year old starving to death in Somalia how awesome God is for giving her 'free will'.

I bet you're one of those dicks who blames molested children, because the pedophile would not have touched them if they had not sinned.
Quote:I bet that's the way you must feel about your parents for not following your diapered little bottom around and saving you from your bumps and bruises.
If my parents were all-knowing and all-powerful, then yes, I would blame them and I would be completely right to blame them, because they could effortlessly prevent any and all injuries I might have suffered. Obviously, that is not the case, so obviously, I do not.
Quote:Sin brought dangers into the world and I believe God has left them here to remind us of what we have done.
I bet you blame rape victims, too, especially when they 'dress like sluts'.
You are a terrible human being, which makes you a great Christian.

Anyone ever play the PC game Evil Genius? As a parody of the generic Bond villain, you have to construct and mainatin your evil hidden lair, then launch out into the world to obtain resources to develop your dastardly bid for world domination. The reason I bring it up is that one of your abilities, no matter which of the characters you choose to play, is that of unswerving loyalty. Whatever you minions are instructed to do, whether it be to kill an intruder, shoot the man working next to them or ignore enemy agents infiltrating your base gathering intelligence or stealing technology, they will obey without question; after all, they can have no possible idea that you may have some higher purpose for wanting a certain person dead or another kept alive. Doesn't this sound like another fictional villain we've heard tell about?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
