Why do you push your religion of Atheism on others when there is no evidence that God doesn't exist?

I push atheism because my life is enhanced when my neighbors around me stick to reality and avoid con artist evangelicals. There is lots an lots of "evidence" that god doesn't exist. You can have lots of evidence even in trying to prove a negative. What you can't have is conclusive evidence, because there is always additional, wilder existence possibilities. Evidence that god doesn't exist include.

1. We can't find see, hear, or touch him or find him in any verifiable way.
2. We can't find any verifiable trace of his prior existence.
3. Physic theory constructs do not have a place for his existence.
4. Mathematical models do not show a place or a need for god.
5. Witnesses for god thoroughly impeach their testimonies.

I'm sure that there are so many more, but since you are a troll, it's hardly worth elaborating further.

Sorry Darney, atheists don't need nor do we have this 'faith' thingy; just like you are an atheist, in as much as you don't believe in Odin Zeus, Thor, Ogma, or any of the 3,000 other deities that mankind has invented over the past 6,000 years.

Athiests do not "believe that gods don't exist". We don't believe that they exist. It's an important difference. We don't need to prove that god doesn't exist: nobody can prove a negative. The burder of proof resides with the belivers: they should prove that their gods exist.

We simply have pointed out that the proofs of the gods that have been provided so far are either circular or groundless, and they lack evidence.

By the way, you're probably a partial atheist as well. After all, you as a Christian do not believe that Thor exists, or that Shiva exists.

You think so? I disagree. It doesn't require any faith on my part to conclude that something no one has ever been able to demonstrate is a load of horseshit. How much faith does it take for you not to believe in goblins (assuming you don't believe in goblins...a shaky assumption, granted..since you clearly believe in some strange ass shit)?

But there is no evidence that god does exist. Likewise, there is no evidence that Zeus, Shiva, Ra, and the Flying Spaghetti Monster don't exist, just to name a few (depending on what you consider evidence). Take rainbows for example. We know that they aren't divine intervention just like we know that lightning isn't caused by Zeus. As for atheism being a religion: it is simply the lack of belief in god, nothing more is needed.

Many want to push it because we see the detrimental effects Christianity and many other religions have had on society for DECADES and is still continuing to do so; for example the young woman who just died of blood poisoning in Ireland because the Catholic nurses and doctors refused to remove her miscarried baby since it still had a heart beat...that is murder, and to boot she wasn't even Catholic.

Many Atheists don't care if Christians believe their religion, go to church and feel their spiritual beliefs enrich their lives etc. What Atheists can't stand is when Christians try to force others to believe as they believe. Catholics trying to make abortion illegal or limit access to birth control. What really ticks me off personally is how Christians want to make LAWS to force others to follow their beliefs. Christians trying to outlaw same sex marriage in this recent election are another example; same sex couples affect you in no way, shape or form, other than by perhaps offending you and you want to control their entire lives just because of your religious beliefs.

Christians are absolutely INCAPABLE of live and let live.

We get it, the bible says go out and make disciples of all nations....but FORCING them to follow Christian teachings by making them law is nothing short of Christian Taliban. You say God gave man free will, then why is man trying to take it away from man?

Have your religion, that's fine....but leave others alone who don't believe as you do.

Yeah but don't Atheists know that you can't have morality without God? It seems like Atheists just want an excuse to not have to abide by God's moral code so they can do whatever they want.

We can. Most of us lead quite normal lives and respect the others right to live. But if you need a god to keep you in check, then I have to say you have serious issues.
