Nice story but you don't understand it. The one with his eyes closed is the one who thinks guns are beside the point. Guns don't kill people, they just enable every weakling the same opportunity for murder. Guns make it possible for every person suffering a psychotic break to inflict tremendous harm even in their debilitated state. So "no, of course guns have nothing to do with it" remains utter bull shit.

Dear Mr T
I live in a deprived part of London, where the only people that have guns are criminals. My government does not represent my views, and actually I am within my means working towards a sustainable lifestyle. If your defence of gun ownership is so strong why don't I need one?
Honestly who's eyes are shut my little monkey?

No...it's you who doesn't understand....you're the kid standing there with his eyes closed....as the story suggested, you're focused only on the guns as if that's the cure all to violence and murder...you refuse to consider, or even address the motivating influences on those who would commit acts of violence...Timothy McVeigh murdered 168 people and wounded another 800 in the Oklahoma City bombing with only common fertilizer and racing fuel....

....It's not that my defense of gun ownership is so strong as it is your side naively believing that more gun legislation / and or banning, is going to be the cure all....You guys don't even take into consideration, or even want to address the motivational influences on those who commit acts of violence....how can your side say they want a national debate when you refuse to listen to the other side? It's you, blind little monkey, whose hand won't let go of the apple...

Bullshit. Australia cut down tremendously on gun violence through gun control and we could too. State by state, nothing can come of it. But nationally we could make a huge difference. The more countries that take this stance, the more effective we can all be in eventually making guns very scarce. So know that we are coming for your bloody, stupid guns. I'm lacing up my jack boots and coming to a town near you to .. well ... actually just make receiving a license for one much more difficult. But I know you'll hear that as an assault on everything you hold near and dear, so I may need my jack boots.

Motivation; Well if I wanted to create a culture which believed in problems being solved through violence where would I look to as a roll model? Now the next thing that would help to create that culture of death would be an amount of paranoia and the presence of weapons which can be admired by those addicted to to their ownership, do you see what I mean?

Just the typical attitude of a gun crazed loon. Who said I needed to shoot anybody?....I wouldn't need a gun to handle you, kid.
