Why do christians ever convert to islam?

I wouldn't make this a label thing. Humans switch religions and political parties and positions in every direction all the time. I'd consider most of the switches more of an emotional appeal seeing the outsider as the victim and converting as a result of empathy for the outsider.

This is probably a factor but I think the structure Islam provides in a person's life is a bigger factor.

I think the reason people follow Islam is the psychological appeal it has on many levels but they aren't aware of it.

Quran and Sunnah is said to contain everything needed by humanity. Modern issues like healthcare, drugs, etc, have shown that Islam didn't cover all things, but never the less, this is what people believe.

Now this is not a rational reason to convert to Islam, but the Quran emphasizes that it's unique, and it seems if it challenged all of humanity to bring something like the Quran, then humanity ought to be have been able to.

for over 1,400 years nobody was able to bring something similar!

At any rate, while these are not "logical" reasons to convert to Islam, they are not "illogical" as well.

Because since you cannot provide a logical argument for the existance of a God as defined by your writings (an emotionally disturbed one), one certainly cannot logically show why a book that makes a logical argument for killing (killing in the name of God - 9/11 as one example) is holy.

Health care insurance is forbidden in Islam!
People should pay for the service
If they cannot the government should support them from Zakat
(All Muslim are ordered to pay 2.5% of their wealth every year for charity)
if the government is rich enough they can pay for part or the full service (but it is not mandatory)

Put if it is on a very large scale, punishments can go up to execution

Islam set up some general rules (like protect humans, properties, honor, etc.)
then put some exceptions or specific rules for certain issues

If a new issue is not in the specific rules it must fell below the general rules
That is why Islam covers everything
