Any questions on Islam?

So we can take that as "mo doesn't have an answer"?

I was asked a question on Islam and I answered it based upon Islamic text. Understand? It's as simple as that Ms Simpleton.

Like behaving like a 6 year old much do you? As soon as noticing that you dont have any kind of argument what so ever, do you always go into attack mode?

And can you show where the strawman is?

And you can read your own posts, just like everyone else can - where then you would see that you wrote this in your previous post:

Quote:If somebody asks me a question about Islam, where am I going to get the answers from? Just make it up? Of course not, we get it from the Qur'an plain and simple. Not too difficult to understand. Just like if a person asks about Tom Riddle, you have to refer to Harry Potter books, or if somebody asks about "The God delusion" you have to refer to the book

http://atheistforums.org/thread-17424-po...#pid417766

Clearly showing that you tried to weasle yourself out of us questioning your books as a total. Or actualy, you were too fucking stupid to understand the reasoning behind us questioning your desert rumblings brought to paper.

Now:

Alot of people get banned because they insult people. And it has happened here quite some time in that short timespan in which I was on the forum.
Yet until now, I havent yet witnessed someone insulting a moderator directly.

Now. It might be usual in your babaric backwards deser goatfucking culture to treat women like shit.
But it isnt here.

And I am certain that if you continue calling Kay "missy" or any other female member of the forum - you wont last long here.

Other than that, I hope you fall into the hands of a bunch of murderous ex convict feminists with chainsaws.

Well, nobody is entitled to any of my answers. I don't have to answer anything if I don't feel like it or don't want to. I do however, try to answer questions to the best of my ability whenever I can. What do you feel I haven't answered?

She and I asked you why your book is persumed to be correct by you?

Kay and I are not "nobody"

And you just answered by whining arround and being a sexist fucktard!

Grow some fucking brains and start giving arguments instead of whining arround!

Don't you feel embarrassed about being incapable of answering simple questions?
Why did you say you knew lies were bad before you learned how to talk or walk or anything?

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

Sorry mo but the appeal to authority (in this case yours) just doesn't hold any value.

Since the other thread has gone silent let me just ask my question again in this one.

Why so violent?

Quote:But you are brain dead, and stupid. That's a fact. It's interesting you use the word "fairy tales" because that's exactly what the hypocrites said to Muhammad when he promised them victory over the Persian Empire to the East and the Syrian Byzantines to the West. They said, "Allah and His Messenger don't promise us anything except fairytales".

Keep up the arrogance and you're through in the afterlife. You're done.

Actually, you were.

I want for you to understand where the opposing parties in this discussion stand. You are the gamer that insists that whatever stats your character gets in the game is also applied in the real world. I'm the DM who tells you that D&D is only a game an that the rules explained in the Player's handbook is only applicable in the game.

Quote:Conversation is like this:

Person 1: What is the other name of Lord Voldermort?
Person 2: Tom Riddle, it says so in the Harry Potter books.
Person 1: The Harry Potter books are fake! How dare you bring it up! By your logic all books are reall!!1 You can't use it! I'm so offended!
Person 2: Calm down dear, this discussion wasn't about whether it is a real book or not...
Person 1: I don't care! It's not real! I'm diverting the discussion whether you like it or not! Harry Potter is not real and that's that!!
Person 2: You're using a red herring and a strawman...
Person 1: None of my business! I will not lose this argument! Harry Potter is not real !!!!

You can try to belittle me all you want, but this only conveys your ignorance, arrogance and lack of any good arguments.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

But the chief reason, the main reason is something which is difficult to convey to those who are not linguists especially in the semitic languages but I'll say it anyway. The rhythm and rhyme of the Qur'an convinces me that it is a Divine speech, not the speech of a human. The exact reasons are far too detailed for me to elaborate here but I will show you a 4.5 minute clip of a chapter of the Qur'an being recited if you want to listen. There are english subtitles if you want to follow the meaning but you have to read them quickly. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WDU1Ht_Cb6s Basically, the recitation is not normal or human, no human can come up with such a meticulous recitation whilst still have coherent information to convey, that's what I believe.

So, in a nutshell, it spits super hot raps - ergo goddidit? I'm unconvinced. Plenty of famous nursery rhymes in the world, I get that this one is your favorite, but there has to be more than that? Iambic pentameter isn't easy either, yet it still conveys coherent information.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. Quote:To answer your first question as to how this could be considered "good" or "healthy", they are following the laws of the Lord of All Creation and the All-Knowing, the All-Wise, so therefore, it is automatically good by virtue of that.

The texts are very clear, God allows people to act whichever they wish, he tests them how He wants.
Listen Mo, I'm not trying to be pissy here but..

God allows people to act whichever they wish, then he kills them? Tongue
If you put a rat in a maze, let them choose whichever way they want, but each and every way but one leads to a flaming burning fire furnace: it's not a test. It's an extermination by a malevolent pervert who likes watching things die, and toys with living beings well being for his own amusement.

What's more he makes those mice genetically predisposed to choose the wrong path to the furnace. That's fucked up.
Are you aware that we are all bisexual by default? Like, scientifically we know now that sexuality is a sliding scale?
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
