Why do so many of you quote the bible and do nothing what says in it

I have meet so many christians who quote the bible and they do nothing what is written in that stupid book like help the poor,be kind blah blah blah. Don't you know that god cares what you have done not what you have remember from that ancient book?

We all know christians like you quote the bible and does nothing in it that actually matters to other people. You don't need to demonstrate yet again how true this is.

The Bible does not forbid people from being rich. Look at Job or Joseph of Arimethia. It says it is difficult for wealthy people to enter into the kingdom of heaven. The Bible does not teach leftist political views on wealth, it is different. It is not really that concerned with people having money, it is more concerned with greed and peoples charity.

So when a Christian has a decrease in faith, he does less, because, "What's the point if I don't get a heavenly reward from all of this?".

I keep asked my sister if she would kill me if I tried to convince her of worshiping another god. I mean, it's right there in Deuteronomy 13:6. It's in there. If she'll turn the other cheek, feed the poor, and offer tithes, might as well kill everyone in the family who is not Christian. Unless... that's not what it meant. Duh! What was I thinking!

Actually, Deut. 13:6 speaks of Jews who would dare take on a religion like Christianity, not the other way around. Jesus falls under the category of elohim acherim, which is a creation that is being worshipped like the Creator. Saints also fall into this. Plus his mum and step dad.

Hence the Christian need to cherrypick which things they accept. It would be a shame for so many Catholics to commit suicide by accepting this!
