God is the great spirit friend

RE: God is the great spirit friend
Thanks for the kind words MysticKnight. I hope that your own experience of God is not lost in peoples rush to apply probabilistic diagnostic criteria to you that is deeply influenced by the pressures surrounding pharmaceutical sales. If you have a problem, deal with it, certainly. I don't think that psychiatric categories are really helpful unless people are really sick. Everyone wants to give their kids Adderall these days.

I personally am of a sound mind and I could care less about pop atheist psychology.

Hey, I'm just concerned. You've admitted to both visual and audial hallucinations. And I'm not talking about Adderall, I think I'm talking about something more like lithium here. If something is happening with your brain chemistry that is a danger to you or others, I just want you to get better. If your hallucinations or delusions are benign, then you can keep them and I don't care.

*couldn't care less

...and remember crazy people ALWAYS think they have it all figured out and it's always everyone else that has it wrong.

Yeah, bat-shit crazy people will often swear that they're of "sound mind."

You welcome.

If you don't want to go the doctors or take medications, I recommend at least doing a lot of exercise. It helps a lot.

If you exercise consistently, there is over 99% chance of healing and getting better. The thing is, without medications, you maybe become too much focused on dogma, doctrine, philosophy and religion, along with hallucinations taking you out of focus on your life.

But if you are healthy enough to survive without medications, I highly suggest doing a lot of exercise.

The problem with me, is that, while I was told that, I thought "exercise" "sports" were feeding the "carnal" self, and I wanted to focus on the "holy" self.

But you need exercise to become healthier both mentally and physically, so do it for that.

I don't admit to having any hallucinations. You are using ad hominem attacks to discredit my testimony. You don't have any reason to believe I am suffering from any illness. I challenge you to find some evidence that meets the diagnostic criteria in my posts. You are using cheap tricks to discredit my testimony, if you do so and consider yourself a critical thinker, you are a hypocrite.

Attacking the sanity of your ideological opponent is lazy and lame.
The easiest dismissal of atheism would be to declare atheism a mental illness. (Broken God antenna.)
But that would be gutless and useless.

What makes you think that I am unhealthy?

Personally, before I acknowledge I was ill....I kept my experiences a secret.

When I believe I experienced God directly or the spiritual world or Prophets/Saints/Imams/dead believers....I didn't go parading my experience to others because I believed it was a personal honor.

The truth is I tried my best to live to that special feeling that I was selected for such experience. And in many ways it made me a better person.

I'm not attacking Jstrodel. I understand what he is going through more then most people here.

Most of my life I've been denying I have an illness and thought I had a vision power to see the spiritual world time to time as well as God's face and glory.

I thought I saw the tree of Zaqum as well as Tuba. I thought I saw Angels.

That type of experience does make you a better person if you believe in it and also don't go parading your experiences to others.

I don't know why the Creator created mental illness. I don't think facing "demonic entities" and "hearing voice of God" is bad necessarily.

I use to be able to summon a lot of spiritual power to overcome what I thought were Jinn. But sometimes it got me manic.

How can he tell his experiences are correct while I know mine were false?

Simply saying I hear a voice doesn't suffice for logic.

I don't want to attack him, but, when you hear voices, face demonic entities, it's a tough life, and I've been through it, and I want to advise a way out of it.
