GC...it isn't just this one article. I live in Charlotte, and even that's too much to bear. Its not just the racism, it's ignorance, the government mandated religiosity, the bigotry against everyone who isn't white and their favored brand of protestant, and not Republican.

Republicans and fundamentalists piss me off. More stupid people that are Christian, Republican and fundamentalist than probably any other group of people. I say this with experience.

One need only study the stats on education, gun laws, violent crime, or whatever other depravity to see that Neil Young had it right about the south. You can marry your first cousin, but not your partner of 20 years.
Personally, I try to give everyone an opportunity to gain my respect and try to like them, but they invariably open their damn mouths and ruin it for me. I don't wanna live on this planet anymore. Y'aa think the south's bad? Pffft. At least south consists of California and Nevada and Colorado and even Virginia. Hell, I was born in DC and raised in northern Virginia. I'm from a southern state, and yet look at me. I turned into one hell of a dirty (sexy) little heathen. The midwest has got nothing but shit. The midwest is responsible for most of the nation's expenditures in social aid programs; the same programs those same dumb fucks bitch about others mooching off of all the time! AND it's full of anus-backwards hicks, fundamentalist groups, and oh fuck me in Wisconsin Evangelism is the big name religion. See, the midwest also includes Texas, and Idaho, and Iowa. THIS REGION IS THE REGION OF SUCK. |
