Care to elaborate on the human condition? (and what about NOMA - u never did answer that??)

That is faith... and faith is to have absolute confidence in something. To have absolute confidence, you are committing a logical fallacy of circular logic, which has no logical basis.
I'd like to move on... I don't think faith is absolute confidence, if only that were possible!
Faith is certainly the conviction in the assertion of an assumption. "absolute reasoning" I think is a gross exaggeration (I hope I didn't say that! Smile).

I never make blind statements like that. Faith is almost the opposite of reasoning, but behind faith... now there's a different matter.

faith |fāθ|
noun
1 complete trust or confidence in someone or something

(2 strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.)<--Is a complete confidence in something, therefore an unnecessary definition.

The human condition is a joke, really really Smile It implies that we are all similar in many ways, and that certain parts of our life are inevitable (Eg. death and taxes). As far as I know, these conditions are not just human conditions, therefore calling it a human condition is to Joke Smile

Good to see that you recognize that you cannot use pseudo-wannabe-reason to rationalize that which cannot be rationalized Smile

As for NOMA: i feel sorry for people with Noma http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noma_(disease) Joke http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-overlapping_magisteria I disagree with Non-overlapping magisteria.

Anyone who can seriously entertain such a mess of internal contradiction, really must have left their brain at the front door.

You're quite right fr0do, I'm sure that "with faith, it makes sense" as you can decide to ignore the contradictions and just believe it 'because it is so'.

That's the statement. It is illogical taken alone. Taken in context with the rest the point of it becomes crystal clear. This method provides perfect answers. None other does.

'Complete confidence' is highly inaccurate

Well it speaks of what is applicable to everyone. It speaks to humans in their language. It deals with non humans in relation to human understanding. That's all that's necessary.

How so?
