The End Game of Atheism

I suppose you don't see the irony in this, coming from someone who believes in a doctrine that wasn't satisfied with the original God so they had to pile on another one.

WARNING: Do not reflexively vomit up the idea of the trinity. If you do, I will happily reinsert it through another orifice.

I don't believe in the trinity. It is a false doctrine, read my introduction post. I am an Apostolic Christian, which means we are the original Church, even before the Catholics.

You are wrong, someone posted something about eliminating religion as the end goal.

I didn't rile up anyone, you all did that on your own, but this always happens with Atheists. You can't remain calm.

You answered my question by poking fun at my 3000 year old book, that is apparently flawed because it is 3000 years old.

History repeats itself, therefore studying it can help us predict the future."

You don't see how one is superior to the other? One is useless today as it was written 3000 years ago, by morons. Its not useless because its 3000 years old. Its useless because of what it says.

History does repeat itself - but that has nothing to do with your Bible which is as vile a document as mankind has ever put together. The Bible is not history - do I need to repeat that?

That is your opinion.

In other words you're full of shit. Don't spit in my face and tell me it's raining, buddy, or I'll show you how much of a wolf I can be.

1) I don't agree with this end goal. Most other atheists I know don't either. We think it'll happen all on its own, with no help from us. Big Grin

You see, what you fail to realize is that atheists vary as much as Christianity sects do. There is no "goal" for atheism. Only a goal for the individual.

2) Calm and cool as a cucumber, sweet peach. And so are 90% of the people responding to you. But I understand that it helps make you feel good when you feel victimized.

Pick the location and let's go. If you won't, don't ever threaten me again.

Wrong, a few people stated that's what they wanted to see happen, this is after everybody stated that there is no end goal to atheism and that each atheist has a different viewpoint on the matter. It was further clarified for you that eradicating religion was the mission of anti-theists, a specific type of atheist (do not equate type=domination of atheism, it's not a religion).

You then proceeded to cling to this particular goal espoused by only a few and regurgitated pile after pile of tirades, poorly formed arguments, and loads of fallacies. Everybody so far has been trying to untangle this clusterfuck you created and clarify/counterpoint each illogical statement you made.

1. This is how you should have responded to my original post. Instead, you chose insults, typical.

2. Obviously you aren't reading the numerous insults, including your own, and the veiled threat that was just posted.

ROFLOL Watch out, we have a bad-ass over here.

I say again. You're full of shit. I actually have a thread up on here from when I first got here detailing exactly how I was led to atheism and funny thing, most people here do. Go to the introductions, deconverts corner, and read all the stories. Mine is in there.

Our reasons for becoming atheists are quite frankly open and available. However, no christian I have ever spoken to has ever given me a single question they've asked of their religion or the answer they received. EVER. Leads me to believe you're full of shit when you do that kind of thing. Your cute little dodging is hilarious and pitiful. "I'm not telling anyone anything!" Fine, then without evidence, I will assume that you never asked a single question nor received a single answer since there is no reason to believe in claims without evidence. If you understood this ridiculously simple concept, you'd probably be an atheist, too.

1) I told you there was no end goal. Ergo, I don't agree that there is one. I insulted you because you were being deliberately thick.

2) I can't insult someone and remain calm? You obviously haven't met very many southern ladies.

Perhaps if you brilliant scholars could have explained to me that anti-theists are the only Atheists that hold this goal, and that Atheists as a whole are not actively pursuing it I would have understood that. Instead, here we are with piles of tirades, poorly formed arguments, and loads of fallacies.
