Evidence?
RE: Evidence?

There is also no evidence to disprove unicorns, dragons, reptilian overlords, gnomes, trolls, flying sheep, santa or the FSM...

But wait... here's the clincher!

There is NO evidence at all to suggest that the idea of God is any more credible than any other unproven belief!

RE: Evidence?

That was merely an example CP. My belief hardly ever touches the point either. I'm sure you have a worldview??

Again you attack my belief as if millenia of eeking out the truth is somehow invalid because it doesn't employ scientific verification where that is shown not to apply. In other words your dismissal is baseless as previously pointed out, and that you have not addressed.

If you can't explain something, it is not evidence that your chosen deity did it.

Can you prove to me that the "crack" wasn't caused by the hammer of almighty Thor?

A 'crack of some kind' = parting of the Red Sea by Mosses? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plate_tectonics Gee, I wonder what that 'crack' through the Red Sea is... It surly can't be a tectonic plate... because I heard it wasn't. Oh wow, it appears that it is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_African_Rift how interesting.

I'll let someone else show you the truth about this 'mysterious' mud... Said person might enjoy the exercise Wink

there is evidence to SUGGEST the word of god is correct
there is also evidence to SUGGEST evolution is correct.
but there is no proof for either. Evidence doesnt prove anything it only suggest.
Proof is when you've seen it with your very eyes.
I could tell you i have children and show you a picture of them. You believe me but it doesnt mean its true. You only hang on faith of the word spoken as you do with evolution and as i do with christianity.

If you prove it yourself its certainly true
If you dont demonstrate it then you hang on faith
the crack has nothing to do with moses it is a suggestion to explain noahs flood.

please read the post more carefully
the crack suggests an explanation for noahs flood no the parting of the red sea in moses
the crack goes approx 40,000 miles long why would it need to be for the parting of the red sea

Do I dare to ask what this evidence might be?...

How do you know that I believe that the theory of evolution by natural selection is valid?

Noah's flood is even more laughable ^_^ It didn't seem like a tectonic plate had anything to do with the flood, and the only relevant thing I could think of in the area was the crossing of the Red Sea ^_^ Fine, I will not expect your intelligence to be that of a genius. Smile

There is no evidence to suggest the word of any god is correct. None. There is, on the other hand... a great deal of evidence (to the point that it is fact) that the Christian god does not exist as supposed.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peppered_moth_evolution Example of evolution that has been observed. Here is information about what you are talking about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution

How does this crack suggest anything?

and if you'd bothered to read Saerules' response you'd know that this "crack" is explained quite well by the geophysical theory of plate tectonics

Once again fr0d0 your worldview based on faith is itself even more baseless than any scientific theory ever produced by man.
There is nothing people will not maintain when they are slaves to superstition
