Paperwork stuff. Arranged for a tree trimming, did some online voting for a board of directors, and filled out a health care claim form to recoup some of my "investment" in support stockings.
If the skies continue to be fairly clear, in about an hour I'm jumping in my car and heading down to the observatory to go "Ooh! Aah!" at Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.

Got word this afternoon that the state finally approved the air compressor replacement for my bed! Hopefully within a couple weeks I can actually sleep, and maybe not have to live on ibuprofen any longer.

Back from the observatory. Got to see lines on Jupiter and four of the moons; Saturn, plus a couple of moons; the south polar ice cap on Mars; and the constellations Scorpius and Sagittarius (not to mention the Usual Suspects like Cassiopeia, the Big Dipper, the Summer Triangle and the Milky Way). All in all, a good haul for my logbook.
