It's still minus three degrees outside. I had a bad time donating plasma last night, but I did pick up more mapo tofu sauce packets. Alas, I have no tofu.

Was watching the dogs while they were out in the yard. The ice is so solid on the yard that my biggest dog (about 35 lbs.) isn't even crunching through the top layer. 'Course he has some big ole feet that act as snowshoes.

The puppy leaped off the patio and slid sideways into a tree about five feet away. I just worry one will end up sliding into the pool.

Another day of this in the forecast then will be mud season. Oh goody.

Another day of ice and cold. Tried to run my car long enough last night to melt some of the ice off the windshield...was unsuccessful in that. If the sun comes out tomorrow, I may actually be able to leave my house in the afternoon. Though I don't go far, I like to have the choice of staying home. As soon as I have no choice but to stay home, I want to go places.

Starting some rice for fried rice later. I haven't decided between chicken, shrimp, or spam. I'm missing some ingredients and it's bitterly cold out. Maybe I'll leave the rice overnight like you're supposed to do.
