Marijuana and the law

RE: Marijuana and the law
I'm all for regulated, noncriminalized use of all drugs.
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

I'm a recreational user, so obviously I favor legalization and regulation of pot across the board. As others have said, there need to be minimal safeguards (age at which one may purchase and possess, no driving under the influence, etc.), but there is no sensible reason to continue this pointless, expensive persecution of "soft drug" users -- especially given the hypocrisy surrounding the legalization of alcohol and tobacco.

Sending people to prison for having a smoke is nuts. Sending people to prison for getting stoned and driving a car is reasonable.

That's precisely what we have here. Legal for recreational use for adults 21+, illegal to operate a vehicle or consume in specified public places. Lots of other regulations, but it is implemented very similar to alcohol regulation.

Licensed grow operations and sales are coming soon.

The outlawing of neural (uppers, downers), pyscho (hallucinogens) and steroidal (anabolics) type drugs including all illegal drugs, should be no longer be illegal.

There is no reasonable cause to arrest distributors and users of these taboo commodities.

You know what deserves attention? 911 calls to a burglary. Terrorists in a public lot (parks, beaches, streets). Idiots racing on the highways.

Having a roll of pot, a packet of crack, a capsule of opium, is not doing any individual or society harm except to the user if they misuse their drug.

Law authorities as administrated by their government are not only wasting time and resources battling against drugs, but making a business of it, too.

Have You ever seen the amount of a fine for the possession or trading of an illegal drug? And what do We know about what happens to the drug after authority confiscates it? How do We know those young and wild cops are not taking hits of what they nabbed before or in complete replacement of destroying the contraband as per regulations?

Put the safety back in law.

Well?

I've never baked, but I'm saving loose change for Christmas. By the time I wake up, it'll be 2014.

This one time I baked for 3 days straight non stop, I was scared it wasn't going to end. lmao! Lesson learned: test the potency of your infused butter before you consume large quantities!

Good friend of mine said he was going to make an "herbal" tea last night.

Haven't heard from him since Shock
