Abiogenesis is impossible
RE: Abiogenesis is impossible
Umm abiogenesis is there in the bible too. The man was made from dust, and unless someone claims that dust is alive, that is the idea of abiogenesis right there. So since it is bible approved, stop bitchin about it.

As for the sky-daddy magic, yes that is still a mystery, but science has more believable explanations for it compared to hocuspocus.

Interestingly, there are two separate groups for this adaptation (in humans).

Lucky for us that the basic structure of a membrane is blistering simple - and can be accommodated a variety of ways that have representatives in all manner of "non-living" things, eh?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. The cell membrane needs to have the capability to regulate what enters and exits the cell. The single cell itself and the membrane are both complex. Both system would have to arise simultaneously which hasn't been demonstrated by the evolution paradigm, not even close.
A model that has pre-planning is obviously required.

The current cells around us are very complex because they had millions of years of evolution. The first cell would be no where near that complex.

That is simple osmosis. No more complex than a water softener.

Well it is pretty obvious that life could not have evolved from a pile of sand. Without Famous Jehovah's secret sauce, that sand would have remained sand. Now how sand ever became a Famous Jehovah is a different question and one no religion can answer. Perhaps Jehovah came even before the sand from nothing whatsoever, an impressive trick if ever there was one. And if God could come from nothing at all then so could everything else.

Beginnings only make sense were time is linear like the our cosmic timeline that's unidirectional and unstoppable, and functions in the mode of cause and effect transactions. According the big bang cosmology theory: time, space, energy, matter began 13 billion years ago. If God caused the universe, by necessitate then He has access to at least another time dim. or it's equivalent and is independent of the comic timeline which requires a beginning.

Yahweh is part of a pantheon that initially created the universe from the carcass of a dead dragon. But you keep telling us about hidden dimensions and men made from dirt and how cell membranes couldn't possibly have evolved on their own.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

God appeared on his own out of nothing. No wait, he was always there. Some things are allowed to have always been there.

But not the universe. That's not one of those things. It needed a creator. And I got a book here, handy that. It's got nice words and pictures all about it.

And the human eyeball can't have just popped into existence, that would be ridiculous. And it can't possibly be the result of well established evolutionary theory, I mean, how can a worm give birth to an elephant? Therefor God made man out of nothing.

No, not nothing, dirt. Err.. But, it was alive dirt. He didn't make life out of non life. That would be impossible. It was special, magical alive dirt. Which he made. From nothing. No wait...

The theory says we don't know what was before, if there was a before.
It says nothing about "beginning"... it knows nothing about beginning.
What it may say is "the Universe we know of began at the big bang".
The space and time within our universe has been expanding ever since the big bang.
The energy and mass within the universe have always (in the universe's time) been within the universe.

It is unknown if there is time beyond the universe, or space... maybe there is and the space-time within our universe is just an infinitesimal piece of the infinite space-time.... or maybe the singularity that gave us our big bang actually tore a piece of that infinite space-time and our universe is now disconnected from whatever is that infinite space-time... or maybe there was no space-time and the singularity, somehow, gave rise to space-time and matter and energy... or... or.... or
We know not.
