Converting from islam any help?
#41
RE: Converting from islam any help?
I lived in a Muslim community, and I have finished reading the Qur'an.

Many Muslims have not even read a translation of Qur'an. They recited it in Arabic, which they don't understand the meaning. So it is understandable how "islamic gurus" and so called prophet's sayings screwed up Muslims.

example, stoning adulterers until death -: NOT in the alquran. It actually contradicts the Qur'an and yet many Muslims believed it...due to ignorant of their own holy book.

People are going to try to convince you how to think and act your whole life. Everyone has an agenda - including your parents.

Weigh it all carefully and decide if it suits you ... and as soon as you can support yourself, tell your parents that Allah can eat a dick. Hmph

After reading it, doing research on topics, asking God for guidance, debates, and observations.

most Muslims are not thinkers. They would say it is wrong to try to understand the Qur'an, and that you have to follow "Islamic gurus". That's how they are tricked into believing nonsense and violent, which are not Islamic at all.

Asking god for guidance? That's new. In my experience most muslims think that the qur'an is all that god has to say and mohammed is the last prophet, so no one tries to speak to god or claims god tells them something that's not in the qur'an. I'm not too far off the mark, am i? Because if it's ok for muslims to claim that god told them something, I'm sure the politicians would've done that by now.

Anyway, you gave a lot of vague ideas about how you came to determine the qur'an is guaranteed by god, but you didn't exactly share what proves that it is guaranteed by god. In fact it sounds like it's just your opinion because you don't like the rest of the stuff.

If God exists, he would answer my prayer. **
If God don't exist, and I prayed, --no answer.

I got nothing to lose if I asked for guidance.

** 2:186 "When My servants ask you concerning Me, then verily I am nigh: I answer the prayer of every supplicant when he calls on Me; so hearken unto My call, and believe in Me, in order that they may be led aright."

Pineapple, next time try asking any Muslim if he/she thinks prophet Muhammad is special/higher rank than the other prophets. You will know by their answers... If they are tricked into being fools or..that they have read the Qur'an.

if they have read the Qur'an, they would soon or later tell you that they don't believe in stoning adulterers, sex with under aged and randomly killing disbelievers etc.

according to the Qur'an, Muslims are not supposed to idol worship prophet Muhammad.

2:285 messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers; they all believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers; We make no difference between any of His messengers; and they say: We hear and obey, our Lord! Thy forgiveness (do we crave), and to Thee is the eventual course.

2:136)
Say, "We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims to Him."

the fact is.. Only al quran is guranteed by Allah.

All nonsense, like having sex with underaged, came from other besides quran.
Didn't stop Muhammad fucking a 9 year old.

They are also taught that the Christian Bible is scripture but that the text has been "corrupted". We can prove beyond any doubt that the corruption which they're talking about simply does not exist, and that the Bible was never altered the way they are taught. The "Great Isaiah Scroll" is one such excellent example. It is nearly completely identical to the text found in the Leningrad Codex from the 11th century AD, yet Muslims would have you believe that the text was corrupted sometime after its original authorship, and the earliest possible date of its authorship is the 8th century BC, the scroll has been carbon dated to 4th-2nd century BC. So even if we take the latest possible date, and the earliest possible authorship date, that's only a total of 600 years, yet it would then remain unmodified for 1100 years!

It's easy enough to believe something like that, but then the evidence just isn't there to support the theory!

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

No I'm not claiming that muslims think mohammed is special, I'm asking if I'm right in thinking that most muslims think that the qur'an is the final revelation and god no longer speaks to mankind. With new information.

And contrary to what you've said, I know many muslims who have read the qur'an and they believe in underage marriage for girls. I don't know any personally taht wants to kill unbelievers for obvious reasons.

Some Muslims dispute Aisha being 9 years old and say she was 17 or what you. A 17 year old who apparently still played with dolls but there you go.
Come all ye faithful joyful and triumphant.
