How can a god, that apparently loves everyone, allow this kind of thing to happen?

Maybe those people also don't think "because reasons," is much of an excuse for not acting when you're entirely capable of doing so.

Quote:There is nothing that God is incapable of knowing anytime He chooses.

How would you know? Do you know everything?

How would god know? If he wasn't aware of a thing he didn't know- if there were unknown unknowns for him- he wouldn't know he didn't know them. He could claim to be capable of knowing everything, and be wrong in doing so. That's the problem with these claims of all-knowing-ness: there's no possible way to demonstrate it, because there's no upper limit to knowledge, nor any way of knowing if you've hit the "end," of it.

Quote:Do you agree that God could, if He wanted, choose not to be mindful of something in the future?

So god, in your view, opts to wipe his own mind so as to be surprised by things as they come?

And you feel that a god who, rather than helping people with his power, decides to prize his own entertainment above our safety by nuking his brain, is somehow moral?

A question for the Christians here.

We often see Christians thanking god for helping them find their missing keys or a parking spot etc,etc.....

Why doesn't god help people find missing children like Madeline Mckarn?

Surely it wouldn't be that hard?

A nudge here, a whisper there.

Afterall you claim that god speaks to you all the time, telling you something that would be useful for a change would be fucking nice.

Lets just wait for the justifications that she or her parents deserve it somehow

If someone equates lost car keys to kidnapped children they have a malfunction in their brain.

If someone is as careless with their child as they are with their car keys is it God's fault the child is missing?

Strange that we want God out of our day-to-day lives (and our schools and our politics) when it suits us but when (godless) criminals commit a crime (sin) we expect God to intervene.

It's also possible that you can take the question as a hypothetical, like it was intended.

Also, just saying, the prayer invocations in your government and the ability of every school student to pray according to their conscience assuming it doesn't disrupt classes kind of puts the lie to your "god out of schools and politics," bullshit.

How very just of your god to punish the child with torture, rape and death for their parents momentary lapse of attention.

Btw dickwad, I'm not equating lost keys with a stolen child.

So answer the question instead of trying to make it appear something it is not.
