Seeing as I've been permanently disabled since birth and require an electric wheelchair for mobility, among other things, my ability to hop on a plane and work in a poverty-stricken country is pretty limited. If you actually read my posts instead of trying (and utterly failing, as is your way) to make a snarky comeback you'd know this.

And, again, I do donate to Doctors Without Borders who are no strangers to providing aid in hostile regions.

I can't do much physically due to my disability, but I support several charities with donations through the year:

Doctors Without Borders
The Prevent Cancer Foundation
The Jimmy Fund
Child's Play

I guess they don't count because I don't have an alterior motive.  Curse my utterly selfless desire to help my fellow man!

Oxfam is my charity of choice, I pay monthly by direct debit. I do admit I don't volunteer as others here do due to sheer laziness.

What's really funny is that there was another thread not too long ago (a few months, IIRC), maybe started by Drich, where the same thing happened.  They ASSumed that we didn't do any volunteer work or donate to charity, and got embarrassed by the replies to the contrary.

I mean, of course Christians do more.  That's because there's more of them than us.  Boasting about the billions donated and hordes of people working in poverty-stricken countries doesn't diminish our contributions.  And that at least one, if not two (or more), Christian on here thinks it does says a hell of a lot more about them and their motivations than it does us.  Charity shouldn't be a dick waving competition.
