I'm genuinely fascinated as to your motives for wanting to be here.
You're a better and smarter man than others who like to troll and leave.
What drives you? It's gotta be more than preaching. It's almost like you care what we think! I'm sure you are smart enough to know how we think and why we think the way we do. I gather it may be no fun or satisfying preaching to the converted sheep, which is why you're here. Is your ultimate goal still to try to convert people or something more? The way we look at atheism is to not convert anybody. No-one can force anybody to willingly change their personal beliefs. We are basically a Defence Force.
We defend the "scientific official" truth to how the universe and the world we live in functions. Good luck, enjoy!
Dear Ignoramus,
I do care. You have to understand from my experiences, beliefs, and perspectives, what I believe to be the Truth, is that those who reject Jesus are like being in the middle of the ocean without a life jacket teeming with sharks. I keep trying to toss a rope out pleading to grab it, this is the only way, but you'll laugh, mock me, say I'm delusional, etc. I keep tossing the rope out because your still alive and unharmed thus far. Yet I know there is coming a day when it will be too late and nothing else could be done. Until then I keep tossing it out hoping at least one grabs on.

There is a "Contact Us" link at the bottom of every page. You don't have to be logged in to use it.
Indeed... not exactly what Esq was talking about, but it is a way to contact the staff.... or do those messages only go to Tiberius?
If there is some sort of e-mail that gets sent to people who are banned, perhaps it would be a good idea to add a link to that page in that mail.... or when the person tries to log in and discovers they're banned... or something... I don't know what can be done.

It's been like that forever - I generally would prefer to be contacted by PM rather than expose my email inbox to the world. However, given my position here, I have enabled it as of now.
Honestly, I only checked yours, because Rev had mentioned you.
I didn't check any of the remaining staff members... except Esq to whom I was replying.
And I completely understand the reluctance in having your e-mail available to anyone who registers... If it was me, I'd setup a new gmail account just for this.

If your reason for being here was to convince us of the validity of your claims, you would respect the guidelines most of us tend to hold for what constitutes a valid argument. Appealing to a faith-based claim is not a tactic you are using to convince anyone of the rationality of your argument. It is your tool to harangue.
What you're really doing is whining because your arguments lack the necessary substance to rate as valid by a more stringent standard of credulity, and your faith makes you believe that science is valid only as long as it coincides with the fables you hold sacred.

Frankly, reverino, all I find in anything you've written is "heck, guys I'm just trying to save your gosh durn souls". Cut and paste jobs of apologetic arguments are all failed and you yourself are not able to answer any points beyond what it says in what you copied along with a bunch of scriptures. No one here is amused by that. If it were up to me I'd ask you to post only in the Christian subforum. And I think you should probably say in the opening post that you are only able or willing to discuss the topics by way of scripture. That way no one will get miffed that they took the time to express a reasoned reply only to be ignored or scriptured.
Question to the mods: are the requirements on the Christian sub-forum any different than for the rest of the forums? I mean, could he get away with only answering with scripture and smarmy good wishes for our after life if he restricted himself to the Christian ghetto?

Yes, I get it. Humbling but want to be an abiding contributor and stay within the rules. Theists are welcomed here as long as they do that.

Apparently you don't.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

So maybe, and I'm just tossing this out here......you're actually standing at the edge of a public pool (not an ocean), where everyone is okay, getting along and having fun(you know..laughing, etc)....and there are no sharks(except the inflatable kind)?

Cheers, Rhythm... I was planning on going swimming in the week. That's put the kibosh on that, then.
