The use of Religion to control, manipulate, and gain power

RE: The use of Religion to control, manipulate, and gain power
Do be honest haven't left school, but when I do begin to earn a wage I won't really mind what charitys I give to as long as it is helping someone less fortunate.

If we were all so lucky as to have marks calling us a minister - there would be far less want in the world. Your boy may -not- be getting paid as much as the average. That's what we call failing to properly exploit the market limitations. Maybe he needs to move on to greener pastures, where people will appreciate him, and the product he offers adequately?

Or maybe his minister is sincere. Plenty are.

I realise that some will use religion to their own advantage, I don't agree with this, I think a minister should be thinking about his next sermon and other people's problems not how he is going to spend his pay check.

No tithing at your church?

Though I applaud churches that devote a considerable proportion of their efforts to real charity instead of just maintaining the building and organization.

Maybe he is (and plenty are...certainly every one that I've ever been able to spend more than a few minutes in the presence of), but he also sincerely needs to eat MA.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

We do promote tithing but we also don't want to pressure non church members into feeling like they have to donate, it is up to them.

What is MA?
