I didn't want to be bisexual. I just am, like you (supposedly) are heterosexual. You keep conflating sexual orientation with sexual intercourse. Sexual orientation only requires sexual attraction. You don't have to act on it. By your logic, you must have sex with every woman you will ever meet that you find attractive, or you're not really heterosexual, since you didn't act on it.

Actually, the best way is to be honest with yourself about which sex you're attracted to. I'm attracted to both, so I'm bisexual. That's all there is to it.

Nope. Attraction dictates orientation. It may surprise you, but there aren't as many "gold star" gay folk as you might want to believe; Generally speaking lesbians will have slept with some men, and gay dudes with some women. There's nothing preventing them from doing so, and in fact given the relatively recent history of intolerance homosexuality had- and still does have in many places- trying to fake it in a heterosexual relationship is a thing that happens.
But the idea that I became bisexual the moment I slept with a dude at the behest of my then-girlfriend, when it was my attraction to men that both preceded that act and laid the groundwork for it to happen, is a borderline nonsensical proposition.
