I don't have a problem with someone being gay, but I do have a problem with gay marriages.

I belief in the Bible and it kinda goes against the definition of a marriage and it is forbidden. This doesn't mean I just hate gays.

It is forbidden for you. Why is it forbidden for those who don't buy into the bible crap?

There are churches that support gay marriage... should gays be allowed to get married in those?

Here's my question: if someone is against gay rights, why? Why do you think gay people don't deserve rights?

I don't see that happening, though. Individual churches can forbid whoever they want from getting married in their church. Catholic churches, for example, don't let people who have been divorced get married there. Mormons don't let people get married in their temples unless you get a temple recomend. If they're able to forbid certain people from getting married in their churches, I don't see why a church shouldn't be able to forbid same sex couples from getting married in it.

Churches that don't support same-sex marriage don't have to marry gays, and no one is arguing that they should have to conduct such services. But their objection to same-sex marriage should not be prescriptive for society at large. Marriage licenses aren't issued by religious institutions; they are issued by the government. And the government has no basis for denying equality under the law because of people's sexual orientation.

That said, are you now willing to "come out" in favor of marriage equality?
