RE: Do you have Questions about Islam ?

Do you think you'd be a Muslim if you were born in a non-Islamic country? Assuming you're rational, and answer this question with a "no", doesn't religiosity depending on geography sort of, you know, invalidate individual religions?
You'd think all-powerful Allah would make it a bit clearer that Islam was the one true religion, instead of confining that knowledge to (mostly) Middle Eastern countries.

Where did they get that notion?
How does it get propagated?
There are also Muslims who think 'killing' a human is allowed. Every Muslim has different perspective owing to his beliefs. Anyway , I don't know exactly how did that notion get propagated but I know my fellow Muslims thought that since at birth every person is free of sin and pure , he/she is a Muslim. Which of course , is not true.
It seems, then, that the teachings of islam can be interpreted, cherry-picked and chopped up to suit each person's taste... or each person's psychosis.
There are still christian fundamentalists, of course, but, since they live mostly in western secular countries, they have learned to behave themselves.
Muslims... in some muslim countries... sadly have no such boundaries... and then the whole worldwide muslim community gets the same rep as those idiots.
Don't you think it would be good policy to secularize middle-eastern countries and remove all traces of islam from government, for good? And that step should be undertaken, supported and advocated by muslims.

I have a question for Khansins. You accept that the hellfires are waiting for sinners. How can you find comfort or reason in a creator that creates his creations with the foreknowledge that vast numbers will suffer in terrible torment for all eternity? Do you not consider that wrong, is it not a duty to question such horror? Do you take whats right and wrong from something someone esle told you, Allah?

You say only Allah decides who is a true Muslim.
If you wish to critically analyse your beliefs, I think this is a good place to start. This statement makes two massive assumptions.
First it assumes there is some sort of God, and in fact only one. There is no good evidence of this.
Secondly, it assumes that this God is more or less exactly the one described by Muslims, out of the infinity of possible gods. Again, no evidence for this, even after making the first assumption.
I imagine statements like the one you made come automatically, and that is a sure sign of bring programmed to think a certain way and to avoid looking deeper into what you're actually saying.
You seem to be on the path of challenging the Quran, making your own moral decisions, which is great. Once you remove that, what's left? A bunch of guys saying stuff with no evidence, that's been told to them by other guys with no evidence.
I hope that's of some help. Exactly the same applies to other God beliefs of course, scepticism picks equally on any God claim.

Now I feel like crap for saying what you believe is crap. I'm not very satisfied feeling this way. You'll need to make a better effort.

The Quran has the infamous verses denying we have free will. Allah leads who he will lead and leads astray who he will lead astray and others of this ilk. Yet Allah is claimed to be good, merciful and compassionate. But Allah who leads men astray is not good, nor compassionate, nor merciful, and is directly responsible for all mankind's moral evil. Ir seems Moslem response to this bizarre theology is to ignore this incoherent theology of the Quran. I find Islam to be intellectually foolish.
Sorry, but there is no way this is a true religion. It tells us God is a self contradictory concept that is thus impossible. Other verses tell us that we do have free will.

Do they not ponder on the Qur'an?
Had it been from other than Allah,
they would surely have found therein much discrepancy.

Three questions:
1. Would you, acting solely in your capacity as one of the Faithful, kill a non-Muslim for defiling one of your holy places?
2. Would you, as a Muslim, have business dealings with atheists, Christians, and Jews?
3. Are there reasons for believing in the words of the Prophet other than that they ARE the words of the Prophet? Put another way: Are the rules and dictates of Islam to be adhered to because they are good, or because they are holy?
