I'm glad someone seems to have built a containment field around this thread. His Travesty is only posting here, hence not contaminating other threads.

Come on, guys... don't make fun of the guy... I admit it's fun and easy... but...
Let's be adults, here!
He's clearly heavily indoctrinated which makes his mind particularly incapable of processing what we say... and what science says.... and, well, anything that goes against the holy book.
Mocking just makes him close up and repel our point of view even more.
Who knows how much charisma he has in real life? Maybe he's the kind of guy that can gather a crowd around him and pass on his indoctrinated views... and his distrust of the opposite views.
But if he's shown that the opposite players are kind and warm people, he'll have a much harder time convincing himself and others that these opponents are "evil".
Mock the idea, not the person.
My eyes! They burn! Damn you pocaralho, couldn't you use a darker blue? náaaa.. didn't seem right!
Quote:On the subject, he shamelessly claimed to be an apologist. You see, they have 'be prepared to give an answer' as a motto and it tells alot about their credibility and honesty facing discussion. I have been here long enough to know what will happen, he will strut around claiming victory, whatever will happen from now on. You do make a point that thread readers can get something out of the replies given to him, but the goal post move, the disruption and being all over the place instead of focusing in the claim he proposed to prove on the title will dismay even the most interested reader. Given his arrogance, it is nothing to be admired about, that other users are venting their frustration. Pigeon, I called it. To try to play chess with one is ultimately futile.
One tries... one tries...

W-wait... if you only just now put your user hat on, how did you ever post here before now? If a mod hat indicates that the poster is acting as a mod, then if you aren't wearing your user hat, wouldn't that entail that you weren't a user at that moment? And non-users don't have active accounts, so...
I get the feeling this rabbit hole goes deep.

I wonder if apologists could benefit from this line of thinking:
"Would I find it reasonable for me (the apologist) to be convicted of murder on the standard of evidence and arguments I am presenting? Are they that compelling and beyond reasonable doubt?"
If you have any doubts that it's up to this standard, then you need to reconsider your case. It's important to establish things, not just suggest possibilities.
