Billboard proclaims "Nobody is born gay"

He might have said it so much better, but it still comes down to being forced to perform mental acrobatics to reconcile the bible bullshit with his own life.

Interesting. Sounds par for the course with most mainstream religions.
I reject your reality and substitute my own!

He didn't say it quite like this, but it went something like- we should be able to improve upon the bible based on science and advancements in society. He didn't say this directly, and he sprinkles in some woo, but I might think about respecting the bible if it weren't so rigid. If the atrocities could be edited out, they could at least honestly credit them to the times and less advanced society.

Of course, Lawrence Krauss asked him the same question in almost the same wording, but from the atheists point of view, which I thought was a good move.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

If the bible said everyone was gay, would everyone be gay?

It's buried within the 60 minute episode, and I couldn't find just the clip of that part. He had a really good answer. He said when the bible says a man shouldn't lay with another man, it doesn't mean it in the way we understand it today; as a committed, loving relationship. Damn it, he put it so much better than I can right now. Someone find that clip.

Looks up verse again:
Quote:Lev 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind

Maybe it's just clinical instructions on the mechanics, that it just means don't have sex with a man the same was as you would with a woman, for he has no pussy. Turn him around first...

You may have cracked one of the deepest secrets of the bible. Christians around the world should thank you.

The bible usually uses the word, know as a synonym for having sex so obviously the verse is not talking about sex, at all. The verse means that men should not be dishonest with each other but it okay to lie to your wife.

PFOX is a nonprofit organization which claims that people can choose not to be gay, stating on its website that "people deserve to know the truth about the many men, women, and children who have made the decision to change their lives" and "overcome same-sex attraction." Founded in 1998, PFOX proudly announces it "was created specifically to be an alternative to the misinformed gay family groups which insist that parents only prove their love for their gay child if they support gay rights and affirm their child's self-proclaimed gay identity. PFOX teaches parents that it's ok to love their children without placing any conditions on that love."

A.) Just because the twin studies (which are highly criticized) found that there is only a chance that the second twin will also be gay does not mean that genetics do not play a factor. Besides, even identical twins can have slight genetic differences, and we do not know which specific genes play a role in sexual orientation.

B.) We can logically conclude, based on child development and the innate nature of sexual identity as it shapes romantic attraction, self-identification, etc. that one CANNOT CHOOSE to be gay, whatever the exact mixture of causes.

Han Solo: Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen *anything* to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. 'Cause no mystical energy field controls *my* destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

News flash, the guy on the billboard isn't a twin and he's gay.

The photos are shutterstocks and he's a professional model.

I know that to be untrue. Those people are just scared of the LGBT community.
