A perfect example of why the millenial generation is giving up religion. Why can't the christers see that every time school students see something like this the (already remote) possibility of them being enthused by christianity dies a little bit more. It's like expecting someone to be inspired to take up ballet by watching their drunk uncle "dad dancing" at a family wedding.

Not sure if you guys realize this or not, but I believe the vast majority of us Christians look at these stories and people the same way you do. As with most belief systems there are "fringe" or eccentric ones. Truly speaks to the old cliche of "one bad apple spoils the bunch". In this case it gives all of Christianity a bad name.
We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.

Ha, ha you're right, I do probably think that you're the same. Granted that woman is much louder about her Christianity, and probably much more honest but when it comes to worldviews - I mean tell me for instance what do you think about evolution? Do you think it's a masonic lie? Let me tell you what I think you think - you just don't like to think about it, sure you want to accept it because it seems normal, but you probably think there is God somewhere there it's just that those God hating scientists overlooked it? Or what about St. Januarius blood miracle? Or which Jesus' shroud is real?
Maybe you were just never cornered to question your beliefs.

No, not again. It turns out that another Christian church harbored and protected a massive pedophile. Oh, no! How can that be? Maybe because people are trained to believe that anything that Church does is for good and therefore people in it really unclench in their perversions because people are fooled not to question what is going on inside:
Richard Huckle spent three months on a placement at a Christian church in the same poor, ethnic community he had befriended in the UK and then returned regularly to Malaysia offering to help teach at schools and churches.
He used religion and teaching as cover for his secret life of child sex abuse, sometimes employed for private tuition in his victims' homes in an impoverished area of the city.
He raped babies, toddlers and pre-teens, girls and boys, some of them systematically over many years. His youngest victim was six months old.
He filmed and photographed much of the abuse and shared it with fellow paedophiles on the dark web.
Huckle posted commentaries such as this alongside the images: "It's quite amazing to have stuck with the same child lover for so many years and I hope, from the images you have seen, enjoyed watching her grow.
"It's not often in child porn you can compare the bodies of a 5yo and a 12yo that are the same girl. I'm sure I'll have plenty more sex with (her) in the future."
Investigators found 20,253 "indecent photographs" on his computer, but "indecent" hardly does justice to his camerawork.
He photographed himself raping a three-year girl and used the image to raise money on a warped crowd-funding website.
Huckle also wrote a paedophiles' handbook to advise other perverts on how to operate and avoid detection.
