The citizens of the Dover area were poorly served by the members of the Board who voted for the ID Policy. It is ironic that several of these individuals, who so staunchly and proudly touted their religious convictions in public, would time and again lie to cover their tracks and disguise the real purpose behind the ID Policy. With that said, we do not question that many of the leading advocates of ID have bona fide and deeply held beliefs which drive their scholarly endeavors. Nor do we controvert that ID should continue to be studied, debated, and discussed. As stated, our conclusion today is that it is unconstitutional to teach ID as an alternative to evolution in a public school science classroom.

So sayeth the Judge.

You know, I live about 30 minutes from Dover, PA and I full well remember the coverage this story got here, in my town. It made national news. For W.Va schools to even ignore that huge controversy, is more than an injustice to the children that live there. It is a tragedy.

Well, maybe that's just that. My guess is that there are "regular" Christians that are your every day xtians and there are "serious" ones like priests & nuns who teach regular Christians, but regulars obviously ignore some teachings like on contraception. The fact is that almost all Catholic couples don't have 10 kids because they're obviously are using something, so how do they explain it to themselves? They probably think "That's going too far, it's a minor sin I'll just confess it every Sunday."

It occurs to me that since there is only a 1 in 78,000* chance the snail fossil discoverer is a member of the One True Faith, those fossils are just like all the other ones, IOWs, created and planted by SATAN to fool the gullible.


*the odds could be worse if the One True Faith is only one small congregation somewhere, in which case the odds would further drop to 1 in some number of millions. Score some more souls for SATAN.
