Christianity and its effect on self-worth
RE: Christianity and its effect on self-worth
Just wrong.

Brilliant.

Guys, just wrong. Even though they're not wrong, for GC's argument to work they just are.

Once again, GC, saying "nuh uh" isn't discourse. You made the assertion, back it up.

Of course, you can't, but it'd be entertaining to see you try.

Well let's take bets shall we. Answers from genesis? Or how about a quote right from the bible? Or a generic conspiracy site?

Because no dating system is reliable after 50,000 years.

I think that has to be the most blatant case of ignoring reality I've seen so far. To trust some crusty old unsubstantiated utterly debunked piece of crap book over hundreds of years of the most brilliant minds working to produce incredible, demonstrable results time and time again.

By what do you dismiss those dating methods? What deep research have you done to lead you to dismiss them? How much study have you done that shows that these methods are inaccurate? Or do you deny they exist, because my lab manual says otherwise.

Also, even if we did have no reliable way of measuring the age of the earth more than 50,000 that doesn't mean that it just happens to be exactly 50,000 or anywhere near it.
