Took a while but I found it.

Alice and Evidencevfaith - I'm not sure who went first.

The first reply to my intro was the dear, departed frodo. Who, alone among theists, I miss.

It's been a long time, eh Alice?

My first post:

http://atheistforums.org/thread-31235-po...#pid869070

Completely ignored with no responses to what I had to say.

My first kudos from Dystopia for:

That was my third post, and also got kudos from Nestor.

My first post was giving Strongbad an earful for what I thought was an error on his part. It was kudosed by a user named Watson.

I received my first rep from theVOID three days later. I was probably a lot more mouthy back then.

My first post was an apology and an ask for help.

My first kudos was from 5thHorseman after I said sorry some more and called myself an idiot.

That's your takeaway?! ROFLOL

I don't even remember what it stood for, if it stood for anything. Guy hasn't been here in like... 5 years.

I think it was a sign.

First post was my intro. Kichi and Mr. Agenda kudoed that one. Kichi beat Mr. A to that punch, and gave me my first kudo. Luckie bestowed my very first rep point on me.

I'd like to thank the academy...

RE: Your first post &/or first kudos
It strikes me as especially poignant that the first couple of posts really drive whether people stay here or not. If they join and try to make a joke that doesn't go over, or if they don't realize that they should really make an intro post and start chiming in and get a cold response, or if they think they have a novel idea and will go toss it to the atheist horde only to find out we've heard it a thousand times.

I feel like you really just need a strong personality to survive the initial onslaught.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
