Not according to the people who would know. But Huggy, who couldn't possibly know, says he knows that the people who would know don't know as much as he knows, about the things he couldn't possibly know.
It's the kind of thing that he might get away with, and I believe his nitpicking, legalistic style is in aid of that, but when you spell out what he's actually saying, it's so ridiculous it doesn't even bear thinking about.

The Bible supports evolution, just not the idea that all creatures evolved from a single point.
And that's where your little book goes wrong.
You can thank me later.

Full Definition of SPECIES
1 a : kind, sort
Pretty sure that is 1) not the entire definition, and 2) not what science regards as a species.
Dumbfuck.

Oh great!
Next you'll be telling me slimy people inherit their sliminess from slime molds.
Punishment for the sins of the ancestor will be visited upon the sons!
I don't think Huggy is going to like finding out our "body plan" is a vestige from tube worms growing in the primordial ooze. Yuck. Or our embryos have proto-gills like a fish. Ewwww.
It's much, much worse than being a descendant of a goddamn monkey.
Suggested new creo mantra - if we a iz descendants of salmon, why come they iz still salmon?

Exactly. They cannot bear the fact that their precious fairy tale isn't supported by rational human beings. If they're catholic, I can almost guarantee that they will edit it out of their brain completely and respond with something along the lines of "you're looking at it wrong".
Jesus is exactly like Santa Claus. A commercialized and idealized version of someone who, if they were real, were far from the sugarcoated description. I don't see what is so earth shattering here, from a Christian perspective?
"IF" you atheists are going to swing from non-belief to believing by these negative observations of Christ? That's the real anomaly... and irrational actions!
At least we stand our ground!

I could not make any sense out of that post.

The fact that Jesus' existence as a historical figure (read "real person") is debatable to say the least.

I don't see what you mean by swinging from non-belief to belief. If you're equating the information in the article to the myths about Jesus, check again.

I might even stick my neck out and put forward a prediction;
Based on the conditions of the Cryogenic Period the xenobiology of the Europa ecology will be unicellular and chemolithotrophic. This is due to the icy surface preventing photosynthesis resulting in an anoxic environment which in turn would prevent the production of collagen.
If multicellular life does exist it will be at tectonic sites of geothermal activity utilising a completely alien form of cellular adhesion.

Sticking doggedly to irrational positions is not a model to be honored. See the Church's intransigence in admitting they fucked up about Galileo and didn't cop to their error until, oh about 400 years later. But they stood their ground!
Jim Jones and company stood their ground too, as did the Nazis.
