In the nbc broadcast the fisherman also reported some woman's voice saying 'help me' as well.

Two thoughts: first, humans also have voices with which to call for help. You have no justification at all for saying guardian angel.
Secondly, based on your logic, your thread title could equally fairly be written "guardian angel sits and watches woman die, ensuring her baby grows up without a parent, and then continues to watch that baby suffer for more than half a day before human beings, evidently more moral than angels, came to her rescue."

Meanwhile. Guardian Angel was not available to save 20 Coptic Christians from getting their heads chopped off.
Wrong religion I suppose.

What would you perfer? Disembodied voice saved baby? Disembodied voice watch as woman died, because no one around heeded the call? Is a disembodied voice any less miricualious than a guardian angel?

what makes you think the woman in the story was allotted anymore time to live? Are you one of the foolish who believes everyone is entitled to 100 years of trouble free life?

So, are you stupid enough to not immediately understand that I was proposing an actual human being saying something, and not a magic voice? Or are you just being a deliberately obtuse sod in order to strawman me?
Idiot, or asshole, Drich? Which way you wanna go with this?

I'm saying that you can't paint waiting for someone to die, and then doing nothing while another person suffers, until actual people come and do the hard work of rescuing the baby, as heroic. You say the guardian angel saved the baby, but what did the thing actually do? It didn't get the baby out of the wreckage, it waited until someone real had already spotted the wreck, and for rescue to be on the scene, before it even spoke up... what part of this is "saving" the baby?
Moreover, if you have the opportunity to save someone, and you don't do that because someone else told you not to, you're an asshole, not an angel.

Coptic only signifies nationality/race of that particular brand of christianity. It would be similar to the term messianic jew.
Again, as above, what makes you think those brothers were entitled to any more life than they had already lived?

That's a stupid question lax, I have member award status to up hold. So A-hole all the way.
That's why I take pleasure in pointing to the story and three on scene witnesses (4 if you count the nbc story and the fisherman) who herd a woman's voice comming from the car. I know what you said and I know what you meant, but like it or not lax, your version does not fit the FACTS reported in the story.

What make you so sure the mother shouldn't have been?!?
Unlike your fucked up gawd, I believe that everyone has an equal right to life.
Seriously, why save the child without saving the mother? To increase the general level of suffering in the world? To teach the child something that an all knowing, all powerful gawd couldn't get across in any other fashion? Because mommy ate shrimp and gawd wanted to save the child from the hell he would have to send her to if she learned that shrimp are yummy?!?
There's no miracle here drippy, only tragedy.

I've noticed a lot of the news agencies are not including the disembodied voice, so I am posting this cnn report and cutting and pasting from the report itself before this part of the story is completely censored.
http://www.cnn.com/2015/03/09/us/utah-ba...erged-car/
Rescuers heard a voice
A mystery arose from the rescue: The police officers who entered the water say they heard a voice calling for help.
The mother was dead, but the officers said that they heard an adult's voice calling to them.
"The four of us heard a distinct voice coming from the car," Warner told CNN. "To me, it didn't sound like a child's voice."
The voice gave the rescuers a surge of adrenaline needed to push the vehicle upright, he said.
The mother was dead. The child was unconscious, but her eyelids were fluttering, and the rescuers knew she was alive, Warner said.
It's one of those things that doesn't have an explanation, he said about the voice.
"It felt like I could hear someone telling me, 'I need help,'" DeWitt told CNN affiliate KSL. "It was very surreal, something that I felt like I could hear."
Tyler Beddoes, a third officer at the scene, said the same.
"Someone said 'help me' inside that car," he said.

So 4 different first responders all hallucinate the same thing? In the real world minnie that's called being a witness to an event.

no you don't.

only one who worship this life above all else see a trageity here. I see an oppertunity, for both the child and others to see beyond the mother's death, and maybe glimps at what lies beyond. This even while tragic to that family may provide the mustard seeds worth of faith needed for someone to place that tiniest amount of faith in God and find Him when otherwise they could not.[/quote]
