Baaahaha Oh man, being a Cleveland fan, I know that feeling well. I know I probably mention that a little too much, but it's such a defining aspect of our sports experience. Luckily, we haven't been good enough to be that close to a win in a long time.

The only celebrations I like in football are the first down point. I do love some TD celebrations, the ones that a guy does every time he scores. Forgive me if most of these are Steelers...

I figured the Steelers are finding such unheard of ways to foul another player that the refs don't know what to call. Haha God dammit all.

Ok no link, but just saw this track runner celebrate before he crossed the finish line only to see the guy behind him pass him and win. It is also what I hate about running backs and receivers in the NFL who showboat before they get into the end zone. I don't give a fuck what you get paid, finish the play first. I've seen these idiots fumble or get tackled over really stupid mental mistakes. 

Dammit Brian, that's the smartest thing you've ever said. I complain about that every game. Seriously, you can't wait two more freaking strides to celebrate?

I also hate the dances they do for ordinary plays. Guy makes a tackle, he dances. When I complete a tax return, I don't spike it. You stop a guy on fourth and goal to win the game, yeah, go ahead and celebrate, but not every play. I always find responses like this funny as if it should shock you at all. The only difference between you and me is I don't assign "all this" to old books or sky heros.  I can value for example, the compassion of Ann Frank and King and Malala, without believing in a sky hero. 

It should also not shock you at all that there are atheists I don't agree with and don't like. I don't mind it at all if theists don't like me personally, I am an individual. I also don't like it when other atheists think my personal conduct is something they have a right to control. 

I found it funny, but in the sport I personally like NFL, I hate to see really dumb thinking at that level. But even at that level, it should also show that ultimately we are still flawed humans.

Nfl is such a boring game they had to use a funny shaped ball to make it a bit more unpredictable and exciting, much like rugby really. But at least rugby isn't played by puffs.

The team got penalized 15 yds and AB was fined IIRC.

Oh, did he?! Good The memory of the level of my outrage was telling me nothing happened to him. I was probably busy yelling at the TV, while my dad was changing the channel. I do remember talks of fining him now that I think about it, but I never followed it up.
