Bobby Jindal announced today. I guess Trump is the fitting ring master. I don't know which of the traditional circus characters the others are best matched to.

Jindal did not promise a federal hiring freeze, nor did he announce, for instance, a promise to lay off/fire 10,000 government employees the first month of his administration, and he did not promise to ramp up the monthly lay off/fire numbers to 50,000/month by the end of his first year.
It would have been like throwing raw meat in the lion cage had he done so. 
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
There's plenty of room for a few more assholes to run.

I can't imagine that telling USian voters 'the American dream is dead' is going to cause a massive surge of support for this absolute travesty of a candidate.
