They all do it. He charged the same amount for speaking at a homeless shelter. And they said, he's actually one of the cheaper ones. Yes, it's disgusting, but every politician walks down the road of despicable money maker after they leave office. Not that Bush would have qualified anyway, but there's no such thing as Elder Statesmen. Only money making machines.

Doesn't change the fact that Bush could have waived the fee to talk to the veterans who were only there and missing limbs because of his fucking stupidity.
