It's like me saying "All gay people are perverts. But my best friend is gay, so I'm not a bigot."
With that being said, I don't believe Min meant what he said. But we'll just have to wait for him to confirm or deny.
Truth is lady that you rationally examine your own beliefs, they are pretty outlandish.
I respect your opinion.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Thank you sir. Even the Bible said to always be prepared to give an answer. (1 Peter 3:15)
I have my beliefs and I will answer those that ask, but not impose or propose that others share my beliefs just because I believe it. That choice to believe or not is yours and yours alone.
Yes, apologists are prepared to give an answer, no matter how ridiculous they might be.
Beliefs may or may not be congruent with reality. There is no honor in "believing". You either want to know what is real or you don't.

BTW, I appreciate a thread question for Christians. So long as they are genuine questions without any sort of agenda or intent to ridicule.
Thanks, Simon! Keep em comin!

I fully agree with your statements. Belief and faith must be based on evidence of reality. My belief is evidence based.

Which is really the nub of the matter...
What is this evidence?

Please open another thread and provide your evidence.
As an open minded person, I am always looking for evidence, and if it is compelling, (demonstrable, verifiable, repeatable and falsifiable), I am willing to alter my views.
But if your evidence is: the Bible, personal experience, Josephus, Pliny, Tacitus, etc or any of the philosophical arguments for the existence of a god (Kalam, ontological, teleological, TAG, Anselm, etc), please spare us.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

He is speaking for himself.
If it's evidence to him, and he's not shoving anything down anyone's throats, then why the need for hostility? Be kind to the newb, it's not easy coming in here as a theist.

What hostility? Where? Shoving down throats?
He says beliefs need to be based in reality, so there is no place for 'it's evidence to me' here, that's subjective. He claims he has evidence. We've expressed that we're interested in seeing it. I'm just saying if I hear another Kalam I'm gonna part with my lunch, cos that's been done to death so much I think it's necrophilia at this point
