Rhythm, Quran designates the age of marriage to be when orphans can receive wealth and are at their most strength.
Hadiths are not protected. If they contradict Quran (like say it's ok to marry a 6 year old), then they should be opposed by believers.
If you were to accept Islam, you should reject all hadiths that contradict Quran.
And may God inspire your heart love of the holy ones, their holy spirit, and incline to the veracious ones and his friends.
And if I'm sick and evil, may God guide me out of it, and if what you said against me is wrong, may God forgive you regarding it.

Marrying kid's is wrong end of discussion.
Having intimate relationship with kid's is wrong end of discussion.
The point being that a book says it's okay doesn't mean its okay.
I don't care if it is a religious book who gives a shit it's still morally
and ethically wrong.

The Quran says you have to be an adult to be married. I'm sorry but all people's sticking to unproven ambiguity (hadiths) rather then clear signs of the religion (the light of God's book) just shows there are dark forces working against the hearts of humanity.
It doesn't show anything wrong with God's book which shows it was wrong to marry children (as it's own words, it only forbids us from evil).

The qurans notion of adulthood is not mine Mystic. I'm aware of the competing estimates for the girls age, none satisfy. The Quran says when people are at their most strength, that is when they can get married and at are the age allowable for marriage. Problem is hadiths simply give the age when a person is baligh mature, but the Quran says matures to the age of most strength. That means there is an average age when humans reach the most strength, and Islam is saying this the age of marriage. And this refers to not simply physical strength, but moral and will strength, the strength to live and flourish. This is probably around 18-20 years of age.

so the marriage issue is relative and not the same in everywhere and in islam it is the same thing but where judged and criticized because our law comes from a holy book . People keep whining about Mohammed marrying a 6-9 year old girl while they conveniently ignore that reality that there was no minimum age in America during slavery. And they also ignore the fact that the age of consent was 7 in Delaware as recently as 1895.
In the Jewish Babylonian Talmud they have a complex set of instructions for banging babies.
