I'm not asking you to apologize and you're perfectly welcome to voice your opinion. But the comparison is valid. You're leaning towards isolating, discriminating and eventually destroying an entire group of people because of the perceived threat they pose to you.
You didn't adress what I said earlier; banning religion would backfire severely. if the religious are dangerous now, they would be many times more dangerous if we were to openly and legally persecute them. It would start a WWIII.

May be. Or may be not. But it still doesn't change the fact it's all about "us or them". Eventually they'll brainwash enough people to do the same to us.

You're right. WW3 is coming sooner or later, so we'd jolly well better get it over and done with, rather than working to avoid it at all cost to avoid the catastrophic consequences it would have on our species.[/sarcasm]

And what cost is all cost? What price is it worth to avoid world war 3? Would you prefer peace or seeing the world under a global caliphate say? ( To be clear that is just one of many possible scenarios.)
