Let's not forget the best part of it - many tend to be against increasing access to contraceptives (not just the morning after drugs, but all contraceptives), even though they drastically reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies, and thus abortions. Oh, and abstinence education doesn't work, either.
"You shouldn't be having sex" isn't a practical, or even desirable, approach to the problem.

Do you feel that a fetus is life or is it just some mass of tissue growing inside of a woman's body? Is it a separate being or tissue mass that is separate from the woman's body or part of her body? If someone is trying to preserve this living being, then they are pro-life in that regard. As far as concern for the mother, there are many of places that house and care for pregnant mothers that are funded and run by pro-life people. They also help find good parents to adopt any unwanted children. Where would you get the idea that pro-life people don't care for the mothers and children? The mothers in the US also can receive welfare benefits, withe medical costs covered, even when they come from wealthy families. Most abortions are not because the mother can't afford the child anyway, but rather just for convenience - just a form of birth control.

Do you really believe this Lek? In a world where a few bucks buys a variety of contraceptives, women are opting for an expensive medical treatment instead?!? Seriously?

Pro-life = Wanting to control other people's decisions
