In other words, god is powerless, evil, or both.

Apathetic at best. Psychotic at worst. Not really very smart. I really doubt the whole all powerful, knowing, ect. part.

Why would god need to give him a  chance if god already knows the outcome? That would be like me giving you the chance to bet on the success rate of the Titanic so I can say later on "See I let you have a chance".

Either your god doesn't know the future or is incredibly stupid.

God knows the future, Satan doesn't, when Satan comes before God to claim he wasn't given a fair chance (as if he deserved one) God will show him that the sin he started ran it's coarse and love over came and won. Satan then will have no defense and all of creation will see his great deception and those who fail for it will be in great regret. As far as the Titanic goes I know what happened and like I said Satan doesn't know the future, your analogy of me knowing the past and Satan knowing the future is a complete fail.

Powerless not hardly, He holds Satan in check saving mankind from Satan's power, that's love for use, you're wrong on both accounts.

Right...which begs the question of why Satan would even bother rebelling against God, a supposedly onmiscient being in the first place. Sounds like the dumbest thing it's possible to do, if he really is as all-powerful as you say.

RE: What if Satan won?
I don't know about ultimate victory but i do want to point out what happened in Genesis that I found interesting.
God sets the tree of Knowledge in the garden and says "if you eat you will die on THAT DAY". The serpent comes along and says "Bullshit you wont die on that day and you will become like gods". they eat and they don't die that day. in fact Adam lived like 900 years after. So who was the lier?
then of course after they ate the fruit there was a meeting of god and the angles that said" now that man has eaten the fruit they can be come like us.... oh shit we'dd better cut them off from the tree of life". Again the serpent (many say that this was Lucifer himself) told the human couple the truth. Then the serpent was punished for this. This story is much like the Greek guy (Promithies i think) who gave man fire then was tourtured by having his liver pulled out every day.
If Satan won then it would lead to destruction of reality is my guess since the creator would be gone/defeated....but wait science says that the universe is expanding into nothingness so maybe Satan is just dark matter/energy. Just a guess.

RE: What if Satan won?
If the Christian Bible were to turn out to be true, we'd all be in some big fucking trouble no matter who won.

On one side we have a megalomaniac who at will wipes out as many people as he feels like on any given day.   If we don't believe in him or follow his rules, he throws us into a lake of fire.  This is the one who supposedly loves us.

On the other side we have a guy who wants to just throw ALL of us into the lake of fire and return to heaven himself.

So we'd be pretty fucked either way.
