Still, your answer says nothing about it being less than convincing.

It wasn't a snake it had legs why can't you people that call yourselves smart figure this out. Sure it was man's fault, they did not have to listen to the serpent and act upon what he said, they could have remembered what God had taught them.

Have you ever seen an animal that was called a serpent that couldn't interchangeably be called a snake? Wasn't part of gawd's "punishment" to make it crawl on it's belly? For fuck sake GC, how fine are you going to split the hairs?

RE: Sacrifice
Remember, it was man's fault because an all knowing, all powerful deity who had just created the entire universe, billions of galaxies, containing billions of stars, and who had created humans to have curiosity and free will, had to put the ONE forbidden tree in the garden with those same humans and isn't powerful enough to keep the damned *serpent* out.

What an amazing (as in amazingly incompetent) god you worship, GC.

He'll split hairs until your scalp bleeds and you're in danger of brain cells falling out of the wound. Arguing with GC is pointless. He is a confirmed fantasist who bathes in the fucking Kool-Aid. Rather than try to reason with him, just consider him the comic relief I hope the Bible authors had in mind when they wrote their strange stories.

Whatever Yahweh told them about the tree was apparently not enough to be undone by a very short conversation. Basically the snake saying "no it won't" after Eve told him what would supposedly happen if she ate the fruit. Good job Yahweh.

Thank you.

But god KNEW they would sin. He put the serpent there without a doubt in his mind about that fact.

Can you even comprehend how fucking stupid this is? What you're talking about? What you're arguing?

Whatever your hardhearted self want's to believe, you're not worth my time to argue with.
GC
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

That's your problem GC. It's not about what you or I want to believe.

Besides, I wasn't arguing. Whether your silly little snake had legs or not, I couldn't give a fuck. I find it amazing how a grown adult would even want to argue over such a thing.

I hope you do, sin can't be atoned for by sin.

Yes He did, yet because they had free will He still gave them the opportunity to chose to do the right thing. He did not force them to chose one way or the other, He has the power to do that, instead he was letting them determine their future regardless of what it would cost Him in the future. It cost Him dearly.
