Christians: Why does the answer have to be god?

Christians: Why does the answer have to be god?
I'm debating a creationist ATM, and he thinks that because we don't know how life began, it must be god. But why? Since a lot of (christians/creationists) think that, why does the answer to our biggest questions have to be God? Why can't we settle for "I don't know" and try to find the answer to these questions?

I'd love to see your responses.
If pinkie pie isn't real, then how do you explain the existence of ponies, huh? If ponies are real, then that's proof that Pinkie Pie is real. Checkmate, christians!  Heart

RE: Christians: Why does the answer have to be god?
Because he spoke to me in a dream.

I was 17 and the dream started out that I was in a chapel and I was talking with a group of people in a circle, they were my family members. One of them asked me, so how are you Napoleon?I felt kinda down and disappointed and looked away.As I looked away I saw a stage and on the stage were hard working men who were setting up things for a play and were hanging up the back seenery of it.Then my mom got all excited and said" Napoleon!""There's Jesus!"I turned to see and it was Jesus walking toward us and he asked me to follow him, so I followed him to the back of the stage, he wanted to talk to me.So we were in back of the stage and there was this ladder that he rested on with his foot on and his elbow with his hand under his chin and I thought "UH" OH"!!!!!!!"Is this judjment day"?!"I was scared and disappointed.Jesus had this concerned look on his face and said really?why?
I looked to the ground and said, my edjucation, I havent finished it yet, My boyfriend and I and then I started nameing off all my sins to him and I was trying to explain to him things that words could not say and when I stuttered once, I felt like a suction went into my soul like a vaccum cleaner and my emotions came to suface and my emotions started to play infront of him, as I started to try to speak with it, all that came out of my mouth was fbbbbbbllllllahhhhhh fffaaablahhh!
He was listening to my soul speak to him in a way that words cannot discribe , even though Id stutter and say it wronge, he looked deeper than that into my heart.

And then he started speaking to me saying "be happy" " I know who my believers are",Be happy here, have paradise here doing the best that you can " I know your heart " I know when you'v tried".and then some day up there paradise will be much better" and I felt him cover me with his love and security.

Quote: why does the answer to our biggest questions have to be God?

Most of them tend to be very stupid.  As Napoleon said:  "Never ascribe to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity."

Honestly it comes down to intelligence and education. The thing is with theists they don't like using i don't know so they use god dun it
as a answer rather than going out and figuring out what happened.
Atheism is a non-prophet organization join today.

Those people don't understand how the default position works. The default position is "we don't know". We then try and learn things, until we do know.

Such people think the default position is magical fairy tales, and it's up to science to change that position.

As well as being obviously stupid, it's fundamentally flawed since any random fairy tale can be inserted as the default position. This apparently proves that every magic fairy tale is the correct explanation. Any "method" which proves everything actually proves nothing.

Also, intellectual laziness and being generally uncomfortable with uncertainty.

It seems that evolution of man can't be, the genome of man is miss copying itself at a rate that man will become extinct in some thousand years from now. So we can eliminate evolution for man and the only thing left is a creation corrupted by sin.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
